The FPI guys have been avoiding our market since the beginning of Emefielenomics that has led to wide divergence in official and parallel market rates thereby creating overnight millionaires at the expense of overall national prosperity and absence of clear policy direction. To be honest there is nothing new in the report as the current lull in the market is a testament to low appetite of this guys to come in despite the cheapness of our stocks compared to other emerging markets prices.

Nigeria is at the brink of slipping into another recession and the only way out is uniformity of forex rates.

So when we unify forex rates, we will not go into recession? grin grin

So long as we depend on oil, if oil crashes, this matter of devaluation and recession will still come up.

1 STEP AHEAD TO BEGIN A-MEDIUM TERM BULL RUN ON NSE wink
Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share-Index faces some challenging "obstacles" ahead. If these could possibly be overcome in coming weeks, the exchange is in for another bullish run. The first hurdle to overcome lies between 25.5k - 26k; which will make the index creating a Higher-High scenario. This is followed by another resistant located between 29k & 30k.

My interest is on 30k level. A break above this level will successfully create a medium term wave-1 for the index (mere forecast), where profit taking may likely begin.

For now, market breadth is good; its time to buy at low and let wait for next few months for market to unwrap itself.

Meffy is not the problem.
Our problem is over reliant on oil as forex earner.
Until we wean ourselves from oil, we will always have this problem of devaluation anytime there is a crash in oil price/volume no matter who is CBN governor.

I have personally been targeting Okomu at 70 and below, to no avail. cheesy

I'm going to be patient.

Okomu that sold for N55 not so long ago in Covid era. Infact I remember bidding for it around N52 but it didn't come down that day.

Finally out of $LINK @$18 grin grin grin

Profits locked and moving capital into $WAVES

Rumor has it about Coinbase listing today or next week and Microsoft partnership

If that happens and we hit above $10, I am taking my whole village to the moon

grin

Some profits will find its way back to Zenith bank. No more holding useless stocks. Now that I have covered my NSE loss for 2020 grin

ST Portfolio: Zenith, GTb, Fidelity case closed.

I keep wondering what the aim of all these your posts are of recent but I haven't seen any. If you talk about it once or twice it's okay but continuing to talk about them here when you can easily create another thread for that purpose even after there has been complaints about the posts shows you may have an ulterior motive.

it won't so long there is no capital control that will discourage continuous inflow of FDIs to stimulate and reflate the economy.

We don't have many options nah, what else can Nigeria export to the world in large quantities?

Even if we start trying now it will take years (atleat 10 or more) to develop a unique product that can hold neat market share. We are stock with oil revenue for a very very long time. cry undecided

Create a dedicated thread on Crypto like we have dedicated thread on TB, US stocks and MF. This will not only educate the interested individuals but encourage seamless flow of information. Crypto does not synchronize well with NSEMPA.

Guy how old are you?, I will be very disappointed if you are older than 17. Even at that, 16 year olds can be made school prefects and they will act more responsible than you are acting now.

This is not as easy as we say it...
when put into perspective, we are heavily import dependent. The implication of N550 exchange rate will be tough on the Nigerian. We will suddenly realise that there are sooo many other imported stuff that our lives have been built around than PMS(petrol)
I still remember Austerity Measure of 1985 - 90... It was tough!! and at that time our taste for foreign stuff was yet very benign... talkless of now..
550 exchange rate will be painful.. some will say for a while.... But how long is that 'while' ? no one can say..

Unfortunately during the $100+.Barrell of oil era, we didnt do much to diversify as a nation. My concern is for the average Nigerian... we are about to pay a huge price for poor leadership over the years...

abeg make i no derail the thread ...back #NSEMPA!

Tvegas:
For heaven's sake they should just unify the rates once and for all. They are aiming for N550 next. Do whatever needs to be done now and damn the consequence.

Don't get sold a story!
Good intentions and attention-grabbing details aren't enough to make a good Rule #1 investment, because there's nothing certain about a nice story.

Lol. not personal bro, just a strategy (Entry, Sell, Hold, or Consolidation). The idea is that, GT has been nocking on this door for freedom, but for some reasons, its been caged below 25.. images below should share more light. i mage 1 is a DAILY chart while the second one is a WEEKLY chart.

Breakout is expected when it gets to this point. It might not be today, it might take a little longer though.. A breakout might see it fly to 30 or 32.. slight resistance at 28.

I might be wrong so pls dont rely on this analysis to make your investment decisions grin grin grin
