Revolution? The world has gone electric train and you are still stagnant and celebrating it? Where are these people from ?

The world has not gone electric. Only some countries have. Diesel powered trains are still a norm in many developed countries.

Even China still uses steam powered locomotives

So there can be no progress until we have cutting edge progress? This is how money gets stolen. Progress is evolutionary because it is built on existing frameworks. You have trains travelling at 120 km per hour, you have data driven communication rooms and world class stations and you are here griping. My word.

That one actually thinks that those countries that are using electric trains jumped from steam power to electric and skipped diesel

Or they jumped from single gauge to double gauge in minutes.

Railway revolution in 2020....smh

Yes it can happen at anytime.

Let me break it down.

Some countries are using electric trains now. Tomorrow when they develop trains that run on air power or another means of energy it is also called a revolution aka CHANGE.

Were they not frustrated for 16years despite their heavy support for PDP?

Why did they not find their voices of lamentation then? Why now?

The funny thing is that PMB has them covered in the rail plan but will be on a priority basis.

Lagos was focal due to population and economic input and same applies for the south west corridor all the way to the north where agriculture is king.

My SE brothers need to chill and learn how to play positive politics

I know it was a mistake, but the pics with the eclectic trains (with power lines) aren't Nigerian

The blue train is not an electric train. It is a MODERN LIGHT TRAIN. Just like the on going Lagos rail project.

Aren't you the NL JPEG king of screenshots again?

If it were true I'm sure this post would have been filled with attachments.

You're making the claim so the burden of proof is on you.

Thankfully you had the decency to shift goal posts instead of building on the previous 80% lie.

Small opportunity to redeem yourself from the horrible label of liar, you refused to take it. Why

Nigeria is now completely listed as a FAILED STATE.

Do you even know what that means?

You don’t lead a country by dividing its people through your government policies.

It's you that failed...you never wanted Buhari in the first place..just wait when 2023 comes you will heal the wounds..

I am completely disappointed. The comments on this thread has shown me that there is truly no hope for Nigeria.
Nigerians are shameless ass lickers. Despite all GEJ did. This is how his legacies are rubbished. And you expect someone else do perform well when he knows that as soon as he leaves he will be mocked? Truly Nigerians deserve PMB.

FOOLS AND INGRATES.

You're totally wrong.

1.The Kaduna-Abuja rates were only increased to reflect social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic as the train will only be allowed to carry less than half its previous capacity.

https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2020/07/26/fg-increases-abuja-kaduna-train-fare-by-100/

https://punchng.com/abuja-kaduna-railway-monthly-revenue-rises-by-400-nrc/

2.The railways are designed to terminate in several dry ports in the country including Kaduna, Ibadan & the regular sea port in Lagos for movement of import/export merchandise and other trade. Even the pipes for the AKK project will be transported using the Warri-Itakpe railway.

In fact if you carefully read the OP, it was mentioned that the Kajola Railway Factory is designed to produce coaches for the national line AND other private rail users that will be using the railways for cargo/transport.

Therefore these railways are set to be very profitable considering the level of cargo trade on its routes.

https://www.railwaypro.com/wp/dry-ports-in-nigeria-to-be-connected-to-railways/

1. Abuja to Kaduna is not a profitable route! Simple and if I am to go by your flawed argument, why aren’t airlines implementing social distancing? Take your time to answer this carefully!

2 AKK pipelines. Please the pipeline will be moved from where to where using rail? From Warri to Itakpe? Are the pipes being manufactured in Warri ? Is the ship bringing them in berthing in Warri? When they get to Itakpe, what next? The pipes fly to Kaduna and then fly to Kano...
