hello @frankrobbn, lekiboboe and other moderators, what does it mean when an applicants medical status reads; *We are reviewing the results of your medical exam* even when the psn hasn't done medical or upfront medical at all..

Has anyone been able to book for biometrics. I'm finding it difficult to do so.

I want to share my position and possibly get advice and opinion. I currently have admission into a college and the classes have started and I opted to start classes online, which I have on 3rs of August. I have not applied to ircc, I am just planning to do that. I have paid 50% of my tuition. I'm stuck with proof of funds. I have a lump sum and I don't want to dump it into my account once. In fact my online head ache is how to go about my pof

invest the lump sum into money market or treasury bill or fix deposit, don't pay all into your account but increase your account closing balance more than the 3k. Since your account has good cash flow I think you will be okay

Well, this was what I got for the question I asked them.

Who knows the modus operandi this period?

There is no pattern so far as per how they issue AIP.

Luckymama:

This is not really accurate. I submitted a complete application. Biometrics done and even upfront medicals attached.
I still got an AIP

Hi House,

To the experience gurus here,

my SP was denied on 21 July with a single reason
"I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the
purpose of your visit.

I applied for a judicial review through a lawyer I was introduced to, but I didn't know judicial review take long time to conclude.

Now, I'm thinking re-applying but not sure if I can do that while the judicial review appeal is ongoing and not concluded yet.

Please, what do you think?

1. Wait for the review appeal to conclude? but this may not be against this fall 2020 according to the lawyer and my program does not have a Spring/Winter start, it also cannot be differed. I will have to reapply against Fall 2021. Its a very competitive program.

2. Withdraw the review request and reapply afresh for SP with maybe an affidavits that I will be returning home after my program since the only concern is my leaving Canada after my program. Again, get a certificate of enrollment from my school to add.

3. Lastly, do everything in #2 above but without withdrawing the review request.

Please, advise, so that I can take the steps before it is late.

That was same reason my brother got refused January this year and with family ties matter.

In the reapplication, I included SOP to explain better (It wasn't in the first application) then I include all the brothers and sisters birth certificate in it to show his family ties.

Now he has gotten AIP and request for medical

It depends on the faculty. There tuition fee range is from $11,130 to $13,860 per year.
You should take a look at the school website below : https://www.upei.ca/fees

You shouldn't have declared that she is enrolled in a University in Nigeria since she hasn't completed any semester yet. I think you were the one that shot yourself on the foot. Nevertheless, I am of the opinion that you should try your best to explain your current situation (inability to obtain the first semester transcripts) to the school in Canada and see if they could see reasons with you. On the other hand, while waiting for the school to respond with their decision, also apply to the University of Regina for any of the undergraduate programs that is reasonably inlight with the applicant's interest. I must tell you that Visa chances are higher with University of Regina for undergraduate studies than Winnipeg (this is something I have practicalized with few applicants).

It will end in praise
sir i have applied to university of Regina but do i need to pay all my tution fee or half of it before leaving nigeria? cos i don't understand it in the school site thanks God bless
