Actually, it could also happen at a junction...

The jeep could be coming out from the right and ran into him, damaging his fender and right head lamp

If it was from the front, it would not affect only the right headlamp, and the impact must be very huge to affect the fender..

Remember, Fender is at the side...

I'm not defending him though, just playing Sherlock Holmes like you too.. wink

Good afternoon Nairalanders.
I am currently working with a company in Lagos. I am thinking of going into Uber business to have as another source of income (SIDE HURSTLE).
My condition of work with the way it is going right now, gives me time for Uber business as I can manage the business and my current job together. I have been thinking of going into Uber business.
Is the business still lucrative?
Is the business still dependable?
Or should I just get a Toyota Sienna space bus and use it for side hurstle?
With this Toyota Sienna, I can pick passengers on my way to office and even pick passengers on my way back home at night.
Moreover, at weekends, I can use the Sienna for weekend side hurstle by picking up passengers.

Please your inputs will be highly appreciated.

Reason I never border having s bolt account again self. Useless app, useless riders

my advice even though unsolicited to anyone doing ehauling is that you should take it as a stop gap measure. This is not a profitable business on the long run, the people making it here are the companies with the app.

Holy ghost fire they use to deceive us.

Anyway

I know you will quickly claim izzou version, i will still say it, this version doesn't add up, junction would have been left to right headlamp.

Another reason i wouldn't believe u,

you claim is a jeep owner and the jeep owner just begged u and u driver accept abeg, on behalf of owner. Then u use rental money to fix. grin

Last reason i still will not believe u, when u had the accident,

u frequently post about happening here, you would have taken the picture and say my fans grin see this man just hit my car ooo

but this time u kept mute, because of guilt.

To believe u show us pictures.

But let me leave u, mr 20years reputation.

With the way they block drivers these days, it's obvious they want to leave the country soon.

Also, those leaving money inside their app, you had better stop it. Once they yank you off, they may not pay your money. I am yet to get my balance till now. even when they have deactivated me. All mails sent to them are not replied. I think Uber too dey do fraud!

The road is seriously under construction now oh.

Also, I was at Agbara yesterday it was a smooth ride from Surulere through Ijegun to Igando and then Igbo Elerin road and down to Agbara. The Only bad spot one would encounter is before getting to Agbara B/S the road is not too good but manageable. Even with the little load I carried i never had any issue neither did my car touched yhe ground all throughout the trip.

Though rider said from Agbara to Badagry is still very bad.

I personally like adventures and don't like being told but experience myself.

A good negation with such a trip can make ur day and then you set destination straight back home.

My recent mentality about this work is once I've my rental, have fuel for next day work, have little money for family upkeep I park car at home and relax.

Even jpworld with his 10 cars @27k weekly he gets from his drivers he's still living under a rented apartment.

In a nutshell, be it a driver or owner you think you're uber/taxify hustle can't buy you a land and build you a house anywhere in Lagos.

I can not come and kill myself

I know u very well.

You're one of the people that lead the protest when uber reduced the fare.

But let me give you HBP, so u will have a rethink of ur life and have a proper focus. While u were protesting,We are busy restructuring. So imagining above 10cars is impossible, is bc u r lazy.

@ Crvrider the secret is i paid 50k to learn mechanic 4 couple of months in 2018, i can change brakepad, oil filter and few other stuffs, so most cases i fix my cars myself,

I drive myself once in a while to know the market value,i am also a thug, u want fight i give u fight, you own me weekly rental 4 no reason, i seize ur fone, u want police i give u police.

stacyadams: everything no be oji onu, work 4 ur money, so it won't look like movie.

Gentlelife50 lm the man with the red range rover sports, when u came to pick the blue Corolla sports u used in 2018.

odimbannamdi ur 350k cannot even afford my mini flat in ogudu, i rent 650.

Despite all the strong fist with drivers, more than 5 drivers have finish paying off. So if u r a serious human being ready to succeed, we can work together.

The only knowledge you have is of your ignorance. I am not responsible for that.

It was a case of wrong destination, I just say make I carry am as him don enter motor and we don comot. Naso I take land abulegba embarassed
Yes it happened to me last week was at Ojudu when this request came in on uber. Baba said he's going to Akelere In Abule egba but uber was telling me Akerele, Surulere.

If not for the fact I livr in Abule Egba I would have had issues with the elderly man.

We have Akerele street in Surulere but it's a Close we have in Abule egba.

For those of you who keep saying or believe Abule Egba had bad roads probably don't know anywhere in Lagos apart from your street.

The Lagos Abeokuta express road is only bad from Ijaye down to Abeokuta capital City where we have the Abeokuta Psychriatic Hospital, its about 60km from there to Ijaye. Then another place that is bad on that same road is from mushin to Jibowu bridge.

So lets stop spreading outdated and false news because we have a lot of people From all works of life who come here to get info.

When I said new features I was referring to bolt though, I mean seeing the destination and even the distance to be covered and like you said the destination Trips na boss, like today Wey I focus on one I was able to cover 8 trips and I need two more to be on 12 percent commission, trying to balance trips on two apps no easy and it will take longer to complete 20 trips, if you focus on one you can use 2/3 days (on good days ). Bolt riders don learn bad thing oo, out of the 8 rides today , 6 na card trips ...omo I shock

I just hope only bolt can help me earn like I used to...GOD DEY

since i started uber i hv not been able to complete my 20/25trips on bolt to get 10/12%,neither do i complete on uber too,i just said to mysef today that i am gonna focus more on bolt because from my experience on both app i will give it to bolt, i hv been struggling to add my acct details on uber and it keeps telling me my acct number isn't correct, i book an appointment with them for tomorrow morning

Let me explain this, this is my second week driving, i realise Tuesday's/Thursday are off days, but what u make the rest of the days is enough to pay my 27k rent, and still make good money for yourself.

Best bet, negotiate offline, stating the condition of roads and not being able to get a trip back into civilization as major reasons.

Some riders can be understanding. Do 12-15k, look for a trip to bring you back, once you get back into town. Wouldn't be a bad deal considering today is Thursday (no market) which means less activity.

Regarding the best route, someone posted a route here that's not as terrible as the main one, you can check it out.

My 50 cents.

Cheers.
15k is high sir, very high grin

Hello House good evening

I just got a car which i intends to use for E-hailing, i will to know all the requirements needed to Be a driver on UBER , BOLT and other E-hailing companies that operate in Lagos. I learnt that they only needed drivers license but with this Lagos state wahala i think things have changed

Thanks

No rider will pay such amount offline. The best price is between 8k-10k talking from experience.

Done 12k twice to Canaan land, one was from Idejo, the other was from Oriental, sealed both on the phone during the usual convo.

Yesterday for yaba, council boys see as I Dey drive, them say make I park. For my mind, Wetin concern me, concern them? Naso I don Dey drop voice for them ooo (I still Dey middle of road) (AC on, central lock activated). As one of them approached, I asked what I did wrong.
Baba said : “if it’s not that u are a young guy, i would have parked you”.
Me: Park me? Wetin happen?
Baba: next time, if u want to pick a call, clear well.
I just laughed. Which call? I wasn’t pressing my phone. My phone was just hanged and my last call was about 20mins ago. Naso I hiss, zoom off

Even if I’m talking on phone, I haven’t committed any crime because I wasn’t holding the phone. It would have been on speaker

Experience isn't the same
B4 the lockdown I had a rider from Merun off ekoro road to ikoyi, b4 we got to Abule Egba she made a call which we then had to go back to inside sango like you're going to cannaland to pickup her little niece from the UK then we reroute Ikoyi. Trip ended N6,800. Babe said she liked my service so I should come take the niece back home the next day.

I was just 2 trips away from hitting 3% on uber that week God so kind I did one coming back home and set destination to Lekki thr next day for the pick up I was lucky to get Surulere I guess on that day.

Got to PU for the lady I tried to negotiate offline for N7,000 but madam said she can only do 6k since I'm not paying Commission. As if she reminded me of my 3% I then said ok let's do it online instead. Since we gave each other 5stars the previous day her request came to me with 1.3x surge. Started trip around past 4pm and arrived around 8pm or there about. Trip was card on a Sunday na so uber knack her almost N11k surge fee in the receipt was about N3k+

That day I blessed anf praised my God I didn't do that trip offline else I would have regreted it.

As for me off trip doesn't pay me because I'm not that good in negotiation.
