Used UBA....School got the funds next day or so...and their rate was surprisingly good...imagine euro higher than pounds according to their conversion

Oby200:
Please I am looking for a bank that doesn’t take long to remit funds to the school.

Gtbank seems like they will take time. I have to discuss with my account manager first before anything can begin and I have to go to the bank twice to fill 2 different forms. Their drama is too much. Guys help me out with an alternative bank.

Please who has used fidelity bank or standard chartered bank or any other bank.

How long was the processing time and what was the rate.

I got info from an insider in UK, that student visa would be replaced with "student route" by October. This means requirements for visa application for student would be modified by October. Advice is that anyone planning to apply for visa should pay as soon as possible before the student route starts. Although the student route could still be favourably, but honestly I don't know

Lol.
The so-called student route is new Points-Based system for student visas and is somewhat more favourable than the current one.
Longer application times (6 months as opposed to 3 months), no more evidence of funds needed in the event of future applications, etc.

Any bank will do.

Keep in mind getting a debit card will take about 5 working days or more. If you hope to book an appointment soon you are best of looking for someone who has a dollar account.

You guys should try standard chattered and then AccessBank, their limits is still around a thousand USD

"The 28-day rule
Any money you use for maintenance (course fees and living costs) must be in your account or your parent(s)' account for a consecutive period of 28 days (finishing on the date of the closing balance).

During the 28-day period this money cannot drop below the required amount for even 1 day or you will not meet the Home Office requirements and your application will be refused.

Your bank statement must be no more than 31 days old on the date you submit your visa application, this is the date that you pay the online visa fee. For instance, if your bank statement is from 1 June to 29 June, you should apply between 30 June and 30 July and you must not make your application later than 30 July. "

Okay, AccessBank, Access Diamond (green card) and Polaris. At least Two among these three is still on with $1k limits.

All visa cards.

I'm not sure about that but you should include a cover letter to explain the attestation of birth if you don't have an actual birth certificate to submit.
The attached screenshot might guide you and though it's not specifically for T4 applications, it's the UK govt policy on birth certificates.

... thank you

Does this mean no need printing a different one for the appointment date even if its more than 31 days like the person ask?

We are in same situation. Someone said that due to COVID 19, a lot of staff have been furlough and some are working from home reason for the delay. However, we need to sustain the pressure on them to do whatever it takes to speed up the process. I will keep knocking at their door for them to open.

Oh, thanks.

If you can, help with my concerns below.

1. Was it a straight forward process or did you have to refresh the TLScontact booking page several times?
2. What time of the day did you book the appointment?
3. Did you use the assisted or self-service?

Luseyi:
I was able to book 17th Sept yday,I actually saw 2nd but people that owns it has finished booking it before I could

I was also there today, got there 5:45am and left when they closed. Yes the woman said this but that wasn't the entire gist because they later attended to people for Walk in as long as your course start date fall within 1st of September to 7th of September,I couldn't do walk in today because my course start date is 21th of September.
