The season is 2015/2016 and he scored 8 UCL goals in that season alone. There's nothing like 2016 season. I responded based on what you said. You said the last 5 seasons which are 2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 and now 2019/2020 (current season). There's nothing like 2016 season. Goals are collated based on season. In 2016/2017, he scored 3. Add that to the 5 goals this season 2019/2020. That's just only 2 seasons o. Just admit you're wrong.


What I meant by at least 5 years is after 2015/2016 when Barce won the UCL


In 2016/17.... He scored 3
In 17/18.... He scored 1
In 18/19.... He scored 1


Before he now score 5 in 19/20



You get my point and see how useless he is in UCL since 2016?

Having a player like Messi is an opportunity to win championships league minimum of 2 out of five in 5 yrs. Messi is a cheat . This current board just capitalize on his Talent a refuse to plan .

When Barca got players who support him take a look at our championships league record . You need to be lucky and work extra hard to win Barca . Same for Argentina we complain the players don't compliment him but they've been to three finals . Players like Messi comes once in a while you've to capitalize on people like that .

Take a look at Barca Madrid before Messi you'll see what I'm talking about.

La liga is poor, very poor league. Mid table teams rarely take points off any of the top two teams talkless of the bottom teams. The gap between the top teams and the rest is too wide in terms of finance hence only Barca and Madrid and maybe ATM are able to get good players and pay their wages.

Can Valencia or sevilla sign a player worth 50m? If they can't, how do you expect them to fight for the title? Or make the title race interesting. In Epl you see teams like Westham, Everton and Wolves signing players for 50m to strengthen their squads.

4 different teams have won the league in England in the last 6 seasons. Can that ever happen in La liga?

Because of the continuous improvement in the strength of the teams, it's now Top 6 teams and not top 4. And a team like Tottenham is now playing champions league final.

Barca and Madrid dominance in the ucl has been largely due to the presence of two extra ordinary players, nothing more.
Ronaldo left, Ajax embarrassed Madrid last season and City beat them Home and away this season. When last did Barca even make it past the quarter finals stage?

If you are a la Liga fan, prepare your mind. Barca or Madrid will still win the league, cos other teams don't have the resources to compete with them, but there's nothing for them in Ucl for now.

Yea,every coach as their style....the result is what matters...mourinho is still a better coach than pep and klopp....he has more trophy than the duo despite playing ultra defensive football...
For me I don't mind the football style as long as you're having the desired results.

A player like Suarez can't stay on the Bench . Having too many aged attackers is bad . And his paycheck is big . I respect Suarez but he has declined but still deadly we need fresh blood that has something to fight for or prove . Griezmann should be giving the no 9 dembele a regular start . That will make you have two Hungry strikers in the attack .

Same thing should be in the mid field and Defence. Messi has not declined take away his goals and assist Barca is Nothing.

Suarez should have left last season iniesta and xavi used their head to leave . The next player that should leave is pique and busquet . I need coutinho Back . Barca Grave mistake was valverde he killed so many players all the players under him flopped he lacks the capacity to improve players . Keeping that man for almost 3 years was big mistake.
