Good evening everyone, please for a tier 4 undergraduate (Graduating this Sept in the UK) that wants to apply for MSc from the UK instead of applying from Nigeria, what documents does the person need? Does the person need a TB test result too? Thank you.

But I believe this person still has to show financial evidence for maintenance fee. Please quoteme if am wrong.

Hello,
If it is a fully sponsored scholarship then I think apart from your documents on your CAS your TB should be next.

Can I advice that you double check your application with your school and confirm that details are all okay before submitting.

All the best

Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by duchess90(f): 4:59pm On Aug 23, 2020
Hello

Fully funded would mean tuition plus maintenance( no statement)

Partly funded will be either just tuition or part tuition( statement with balance and/or maintenance)

Tuition discount is just a discount from fees( statement with balance and maintenance)

Cheers

Please help house,

1)My dependents and I are planning to stay with my family for the first 2 weeks on getting to the UK b4 we go settle our accommodation.
On my visa application form I indicated that we will be there for a month, what address should I use for where else we wld be living in the UK? I'm going for a 2 years course.

2) Someone suggested attaching my families mortgage and utility documents in the UK to our applications. Is that really necessary?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Oloshi83: 9:18pm On Aug 23, 2020
You don’t need to include their property documents. It has nothing to do with your application.

Your main address would be your Uni address as you’d be there for most of the two years.

You should mention him where the form asks for such information.

But if your wife has custody you cannot take him along as a dependant.
If you declare your marital status as "divorced" or single, you don't need to provide any proof as that as you are not attempting to take along a partner as a dependant and there is consequently no need to prove any relationship to anyone.

Thank you very much

Do you mean just mentioning him or actually submitting an application for him. Mentioning him without applying is fine and you should for future record history purposes but applying for him then

That will be hard if your wife has full custody and not you because the rule is

The Main Applicant is the parent that has and has had sole responsibility for the applicant’s
upbringing (the dependent) ... and this is usually supported by an evidence of a court order

I mean just mentioning, he won't be travelling with me for now.
Thanks for your input

It can be in your own or their own. Both are acceptable.

I have similar question on this issue.
I am not married yet but will do before leaving the country. I plan to file for my wife to come as soon as possible.
Do I need to indicate am married while filling forms now?
If no, how do I inform concerned authorities that my status has changed and I now have a dependent I want to bring in?
I will be married before leaving.. How can I update my information to capture this important part so my wife can come in?

I honestly cannot say definitively what you should do in this situation. Perhaps someone who has been or knows of someone who has been in a situation where an imminent marriage was planned can help.
However two things:

1. Do not lie on the form by saying you are married now when you are not.

2. Assuming you are in an unavoidable hurry because your school will be opening in September/early October, if you are about to get married (i.e. you and your madam and the families have arranged everything) and you need to fill this form ASAP to make a September school start date, given that many Nigerians generally have an option of 3 ceremonies (traditional, registry, religious) is there no way at all you can advance your marriage, e.g. a) by going to a marriage registry this week while the religious or traditional ceremony or whatever you have planned comes when scheduled or conversely b) carrying out a valid traditional ceremony with the photos and all? (I'm well aware of people who have done the latter, dropping in from abroad for a week and completing all formalities and taking off again). Depending on where you are in the country, it may be possible to facilitate a state registry ceremony within days.

These are just suggestions.
