Foreign rice is now 27.000.Nigerians are very greedy people you can’t ban foreign product to allow them to gain market, they would increase the price and make life unbearable for their own people
Buhari need to open the border, these farmers are too greedy
to open the border is not even the issue. The exchange rate of #812 to cfa is 1000. Meaning a foreign rice is sold in cotonuo for cfa20700 will be #17200 in naira. Excluding Cost of crossing and transportation. Except if baba will apply yardua ideas in rice importation

This is why they are slaughtering your farmers and chasing them off the lands, they want Nigeria’s importing of food to become necessity and not choice.

Nigeria has always had the capacity to feed self; the continued killing of your farmers will undermine this.

The fault is now “greedy farmers” and not the incompetent, wicked regime in Beau Harry.

May the evil of this regime come on you.
Don't put this one on Buhari pls, Nigerians are very greedy, imagine local rice that no one give a damn about before is now more expensive than foreign rice, the government closed the border so our farmers can enjoy but they want to become billionaire overnight, them don see opportunity

farmers also need a living wage. the more expensvie food, the more people will become farmers
eventually the law of demand and supply will kick it
calm down
...the best answer to this thread...almost everyone is venturing into agriculture now..just watch has price will go down dramatically when they all harvest and there is no one to buy..
