As it stands , you do NOT have a Mauritius passport , so your answer is NO.

Alright. Thanks Boss.

Leave it at Nigerian passport only smiley
brainz360:
Hello guys, a friend did a Mauritius passport for himself and His wife last month. He told me about it, I got interested and also paid for it. Two weeks after making the payment (half payment though) to complete the balance when the passport is out. I was a bit worried so I chatted my elder brother who based in U.S about it. He advised I cut tiers with d person and not go further with the passport thing as it might be fake.

My question now is this, when filling my UK visa form, should I state that I have a Mauritius passport or not?
As the Mauritius passport is out already but I refused paying the balance to collect it.

Hello guys, please I need your advice on this undecided

I am only advising. What you decide is entirely up to you.
Option one: just leave it as it is, don’t send any letter to complicate things & wait for your visa approval. I say this because someone else in the same issue as yours, just collected his visa yesterday. He had had (2) visit visa refusals for U.K. & US. Then (2) Canada student refusals & (1) visa refusal to Indonesia. He declared it all except from one of student refusals. He only declared one student refusal. He did not even realise until Monday when he called me to advise him. I told him it’s already too late & nothing can be done bc he submitted since. Just yesterday he got his visa approval.

Option two: cancel the application & start afresh if it will make you have more peace of mind.

Goodluck smiley
Flezi1:
I just want to add two rejections i omitted whats the best option cancelling the application or including a letter?

Please advice.

Greetings everyone,Please can your dependent travel with you to the Uk without adding her to your application if she is from a visa free country Eg your dependent does not need a visa to travel to the Uk but he cannot stay more than 6 months in the Uk.Can u all travel together and later apply for her in the UK as your dependent?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 4:44pm On Aug 26, 2020
No. The 6 month permitted stay for countries that don't require visas to visit the UK is for tourism purposes and short stays, not living purposes. You'll need to apply for a dependant visa for your dependant before entry in the UK.

My first appointment date was 24th of September,I was at the VI visa center last week Thursday for Walk in but he didn't work out then I was there again yesterday,it didn't also work out. At around past 11am at the VI center I tried amending my appointment and I got September 1st and at around past 2pm I tried amending again then I got 26th of August (today),the interview went well and this are all the questions:

* Why the course?
* Why the school?
* Why UK?
* Career plan?.

Please I’ll be going for my interview tomorrow in Abuja; does anyone have an idea of a cheap hotel close to TLS Centre Abuja?

11,700 compared to what I have been doing before I got to this stage or compared to what I will get? Damn the 11,700! I would even pay more to make up for my mistake.

Thank you very much.

You did yours at VI too? And I guess it depends on the interviewer. Also the way you answered each questions might have contributed to it too. In their case they might have given answers to three possible questions in one answer.

If she has such passport she free to travel with you. No airline is going to stop her, neither will they stop her at POE if she says she visiting for 6 months ..... however she wont be allow to switch within the UK and would need to apply outside the UK to be your dependent . That was the precovid rules so maybe there are some changes

The smoother way will be to get dependent visa from beginning so she doesnt buy ticket twice in out and in again

Akchi32:
I finally did my visa interview today. I'm happy it went well.

These are the questions i was asked:

What's your name and date of birth?
Why have you decided to study my course?
Did you considered other schools before applying to University of Strathclyde?
Why did i choose University of Strathclyde?
Have i been to the UK before?
What's my future career plans?
Where will i be staying and the kind of apartment I'll be renting?
Why did i choose to study in Scotland?
What have i been doing after my undergraduate?
How much am i earning currently?
Who will be paying for your studies?
Do I've a dependent?
Will they be traveling with me?
Do i have family and/or friends leaving in the UK?
How much am I looking at earning after my studies?
The name of my undergraduate institution?
My undergraduate qualification (BA or Bsc)?
Why did i choose to go for my studies now?
If i understood all the questions asked?

The interviewer was really nice and friendly. I'll advise those preparing for interview to be calm and truthful. It's just you having a conversation with another person.

Best of luck.
