Those money aren't proceed from Oga shop or Oga gains but the exhobitant gains due to overpriced gave to customers. The money belong to the customers who patronize ur shop because no one saved such from Oga gains n d business still pumping. This is one big problem we have in this country. Making lots in the name of gain by draining other people's pocket. For those working with fixed salary will be on the receiver end, so tell me how will corruption end.

Return the money to it's owner, break it into bits like 200k or 300k and add it to the normal remittance you do. Serve your oga faithfully until he settles you. Thay way you will contact the blessings. Remember it's the blessings of the Lord that makes rich.

Returning the money implies that what ever be the outcome you are ready to face it bro. And not equally returning the money also implies that, later in life you still gat reap what you have started sowing. The yam and the knife are both in your hands.

I will advise u to keep the money and save more but please be very careful not to be caught.. There is no guarantee that he will settle you once u are done serving him or he might just cook up one excuse during ur final years n sack u so save more if possible so that I will have something to fall back to.. Is it markup profit? That is if oga say sell 10naira but you ebd up selling 12naira.

The 2naira extra is markup profit.

In such case it belongs to u not your oga
As long has your oga capital and profit is secure, anything u put on top belongs to u.

Did he force anyone to purchase? In a free market, it's all about supply and demand, if you don't like a price, move on to another seller. The only problem here is that he feels guilty for capitalizing on Oga's shop but as long as he sold above what oga told him to, he can pocket the gains. In business the shrewd and diligent often succeed more than the good samaritans!

If you made the money through "oso ahia", I guess you should keep it. If you added more to the price tag and made extra profit, you can keep it.
If you stole his profit, refund his money but be careful in refunding.
He might presume you still have more and may end up not settling you.
You can refund systematic but don't tell him about the money. You can be putting it back gradually.

If you got it through an illegal means (i.e stealing from his profits) and you're feeling guilty, invest the money (all of it) into your boss' shop and never steal from him again. When it's time for you to go your boss will see how the shop he entrusted to you has greatly increased in value and he'll be pleased. That's just what I think. It's very easy to call other people, (including Nigerian politicians) criminals, but here you are in their shoes. Do the right thing. Even if your boss doesn't reward you when you leave your experience from working under him will be more than enough to make sure your own business is successful.
