Yes, their updated guideline states you must do the covid test before using their airport. I don't know anyone that has passed through recently to confirm

Please does Nigerian airport need covid test for boarding or is it airline specific? I know arrivals into Nigeria need covid test.

Good afternoon,
Is covid 19 test a requirement for travelling out of Nigeria?
I'm using Ethiopia airline.
I'd appreciate your response.
I communicated with Ethiopia airlines some days ago. They said they don't require it. But one need to find out if Nigerian airport authorities requires it for departures .

@justwise @mimilyrics and other gurus....HELP'S NEEDED. NOTE; lengthy post
I applied through an agent for a UK visitor visa which attracted an agent fee and i was rejected (Feb 2020) for the reason which state the immigration officer wasn't sure of the funds in my account is readily available to me.
PROBLEMS
1. the agent filled many false information on my behalf which include;
i. fake bank statement.
ii. fake marriage certificate and a child birth certificate.
iii. Fake employment letter and fake property papers.
BRIEF INFO ABOUT ME;
i. 32 years
i. 2018 electrical graduate.
ii. I run electrical company but not registered yet
iii.Not married yet, let alone of having a child
CURRENT SITUATION;
After several net research( nairaland uk standard visa pages and general student tier 4 pages )
1. I applied for Msc study in engineering and have been offered to study in scotland (GCU) with deposit paid.
2. Am about to proceed to visa processing stage myself.
QUESTIONS
1. what should i do knowing fully well i have a history (my false info above) on their database interms of marriage, a child i've never had and payslips
2. what effect can this have on my proposed study plan.
Below is my refusal letter and bashing, criticism and valuable suggestion is welcome as ive learned the hard way.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mimilyrics: 8:24pm On Aug 30, 2020
Even though you said that the agent filled in some wrong info for you, your application was refused for financial reasons, not misrepresentation.

Usually, a visa refusal based on insufficient finance or lump logdements isn't an issue for subsequent applications as long as you can prove (in your subsequent applications) that your finances are truly available to you and that your economic situation in Nigeria is truly good enough for you not to break the bank on your trip.

For student visas, once you've got the funds for 28-days, you explain previous refusals, and every other things check out, you've got a high chance of getting a visa as long as deception isn't involved.

That said, the issue that I foresee with your application is the fake info filled in your previous applications as that's grounds for a 10-year ban for misrepresentation/ deception grounds. Even if you get away with the false info on Nos 1 and 3 as they are information bound to change with the passage of time, I don't see you getting away with number 2 as the onus is now on you to prove that you aren't married and that will require you to say the truth which exposes the false info on your application or lie which now shows you as an unrepentant individual bent on lying to UKVI for immigration fraud.
And since the application was made/rejected in February, the information discrepancy as per your marital status will be evident in your new application and might raise eyebrows as to the veracity of your application information.

The only 2 ways I see out of this are

1. You come clean on your application about the previously filled false info. This will most likely lead to a 10-year ban and subsequent applications after the ban is served will be subject to intense scrutiny. Or

2. [s]Keep up the lie with another or same set of false info and documents (showing marriage or divorce) which will lead to an outright ban if found out.[/s]

Even if you get away with it now, it won't always be so. It will still crop up sometime in future especially if you find yourself getting married to someone in the UK.

Dont apply, you applied for a visit in Feb refused then now all of a sudden in August/September for a Masters ? No real student sudenly wants to commit massive funds to school in such a short time. Check real student threads they plan at least 1 year in advance

Deposit has no baring on your case

That fake bank statement was traced they were just being British by not saying it straight out.
You may likely already have a ban
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 11:22pm On Aug 30, 2020
Hmmm.
Permit me to be honest with you.

Please when would you acknowledge the plenty acts of misrepresentation than saying agent alone?
I am afraid to say that you are very complicit in all of this. So kindly brace up to your realities right now with the United Kingdom.
The agent didn't force fake or forged profiles on you. You did accept and went ahead to apply as a married man with a child, prosperous career, fat bank account and properties.
That been said pls check your refusal letter to the end, it would be a huge relief for you if you were not banned. If this is the case, and you dont have a ban in place (denied under paragraph 320(11) kindly stay away from the UK and visa or immigration or anything UK OR your next option...... go back and continue with the lies.. that means you provide all these wife, child, job and property documents and so on and so forth anytime you will ever want to apply to the United Kingdom for visa.
This will even be worse if you are caught even years later. It’ll be a case of an unrepentant individual and might get you a life ban.
In my best opinion, kindly seek for another country for you to study. Please. There are many countries.
Cause this student visa application would require same information, do you want to change everything now to single etc? Hmm.

P.S your fingerprints are in the system so for sure even if you decide to get a new intl passport with a new name, as soon as you do biometrics you would be found out.

My great comrades in Nairaland.. Please, does anyone knows weather Cotonou required covid 19 test before they can board in their country. Because, I am to book ticket on the 2nd of September to fly through Cotonou route. As our government are not reliable. Please I need answer ASAP. If someone that has passed through can give me the road map.. And the challenges he or she experience.

I passed through Cotonou on August 12, it was stress free for me. I boarded Ethiopian airline and no covid test was required.

Most of the available airline tickets are subjected to federal government approval. I spoke with Ethopian airline few minutes ago. They told me to hold on from buying ticket, because they have not gotten an approval from federal government. They have being on that for very long time now. That Nigeria government is not helping the situation, because all the other country has opened up their international flight.

As anyone bought ticket to UK in the house, which airline and what date?

BA is selling tickets. U can get tickets for flights from September; the earliest flight availability is Sept 6. For reasonable prices, you are looking at mid September.

Also, dates are flexible until around end of September such that you can change your dates.

Turkish airline is selling. There is flight on 5th but very expensive. Their cheapest price starts from 16th September.

Hi everyone, in trying to make payment via Paga Verve using a Zenith Bank Card, it kept saying I exceeded my limit of N100,000. Paga verve has upgraded my account to N200,000 limit and I am trying to pay for 2years which is N190k. Did any upgraded their card through Zenith bank after Paga had upgraded it? please respond urgently.

Good afternoon house. Please I’d need the gurus in the house to help me on this. My cousin applied for a BSc course and has gotten her visa. But after much contemplations as regards to finance, she wants to go for MSc instead. Now she already has her visa, what do you advise please? Her school tuition is refundable too. Would she be able to reapply for an MSc course starting in January?

I don't see how this is an issue or am I missing something? I thought visa for education is generally called a student visa irrespective of whether it is for an undergraduate or postgraduate study...

Her visa is tied to her cas statement. That is 3 years study visa. But MSc is one year. So she doesn’t really know what to do. If she’d have to reapply for visa or something

Hi,
If you did your biometrics before lockdown and you're yet to get back your passport & you're on twitter, kindly join the hashtag #PrioritiseMarchApplications #ReturnOurPassports and comment on Nigeria British high commission page @ukinNigeria. Few people have been doing that, maybe our voices can be heard just like that of #ReplacetheVignettes.

I think if you test for covid-19 in the UK airport on arrival and your negative, there will be no need for 14 days self isolation.

My thoughts though....

Nope. That's a negative. No one is testing anyone at the UK airport or upon arrive in the UK. No one in the UK is interested in your test result when you come as a visitor as there is no facility for this when you arrive. You are expected to self isolate straight up.
