Sorry about your loss. I just wish Xiaomi had that feature where you can only input the password before switching off the phone. Would have made it more trackable. Let's hope when the thief sees he can't use it he'll return it.
With this, one can only force restart the phone by holding the power button for about 10-15 secs. Power menu can't be accessed, so you can't switch it off.
I'm on masik rom. I don't know if it's on stock rom.

Hello my fellow xiaomi family. Tragedy befell my note 9 today. cry
Got stolen inside keke while I was going out and it was immediately switched off. Luckily for me I still have my other device with me so I logged into the xiaomi cloud and locked the device online. Any luck of me seeing it again? I feel like shedding cold tears but I still believe I will see it back.
Picture below
you should've written something like
"This device is lost/stolen, and currently being tracked by the Police Force and DSS call 09098 to return peacefully.......etc

Best of luck

You'll find it once the person switches it on so far you activated find my device

Hey guys! I'm seeing this MIUI12 stable update available on my device update section. Please can I go on and download the file and update? I don't know whether its safe cos I'm enjoying my MIUI11, but a stable and more optimised update could be better. Thanks
Please advise

1. G85 isn't poor but I feel it is poorly optimised
2. Like the RN9S, RN9 charges at 18W and 1hr 45mins is still a good enough charging time.

I am not so much freaked about fast Charging because of battery longevity.

If you are concerned about the G85 then consider buying the RN9s, it is a better device.

Thanks boss, I really appreciate the fact that you took ur time to respond to this and help out

I wouldn't advice you to hold reviews on GSMarena with any seriousness. Nevertheless, If it's within your budget, I'll advise you go for the 9s even if it's the 4/64 variant.

Thanks boss

The glap controller only worked with Asphalt 9, Modern Combat 5 and Angry Birds Go.
I do not have pictures of the controller on my phone

I use a Mi Note 10Pro, I want to know if it's compatible for games like Free Fire and PES2020. Those are my favorite games.

You mean ADM Pro or IDM+
https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.0.2.0.QGGMIXM/miui_BEGONIAGlobal_V12.0.2.0.QGGMIXM_d7ccad5950_10.0.zip

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 10 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

That's because the videos are low resolution videos, and those other phones probably have lesser resolutions compared to your new phone. You can test by watching YouTube videos on your new phone, and set the resolution at 1080p. You should note that the higher the resolution, the more data will be consumed.
I have seen threads here on Nairaland where people complained that their Gotv was not as crisp on their new 4k Tv as it was on their old Sd/480p TVs. I also had a friend who complained of such some years back after upgrading from an HD Ready Tv (720p) to a full HD tv (1080p). In fact, he almost sold the new TV because he thought the new one was inferior grin.

Like you know.

I can't buy that GoTV even if them give me DsTV premium channels inside because the video output doesn't make sense at all. No HDMI in this generation.. chai

For one your free space can't even do any update and you cut out some parts of this screenshot.

The Update after this one is Android 10.

I strongly advise you free up space to a minimum of 5GB before embarking into this.

Instructions on manual updating was posted earlier use it as a guide.

I heard people suggesting 9s. Between that and 9pro which is more superior though I know RN9pro is more expensive

It is not a superiority contest. RN9Pro and RN9S is a matter of choice and what you can do with/without.

Apart from Main Camera 64MP Vs 48MP, Charging 30W(33W charger provided) Vs 18W(22.5 W charger provided) and presence of NFC on RN9 pro.,Every other thing is the same.

Now you are now faced with what do I fancy or what I don't fancy, do the differences spur me to spend extra or not.

So you can now see it is not a matter of superiority.
