Why not leave Trump and face Buhari that is your president and in a country you casted your vote....

Even as a core PDP supporter, I am not happy about this development. I am working with some like-minds to see if we can force Okwute my mentor to come out and declare his interest. He is far more qualified for that office than any other Nigerian alive. PDP must do right by Ndigbo this time around. Enough is enough. I will renounce my support for PDP if the party does not support one of our own for presidency. Mark my words. angry
The bolded is one reason why many have issues with an igbo man leading. How is Peter Obi more qualified than any Nigerian alive? On what metrics?

Exactly they aren't demanding anything from a party they have been supporting since 1999 , yet they want APC that they don't support to give them the ticket

Atiku is likely going to be the flag bearer of PDP that should be a concern to the Igbos in the party

Contesting is OK....they won't use my money, would they?

Is that what it is about? The way things are going sef.......SE might not even get anything from both sides sef.

If the North retains power in APC, it is likely a SS-VP (or at worse another SW-VP), less likely. If they give it to SW, automatically, another Southerner is off. You & I know the APC won't zone it to the SE.

If the PDP zones it to the North (which is likely), a SS might be VP, if you do gra gra..they dash you VP and sabotage you from behind like 2019.

You contest for President under PDP...they make sure you lose.

All I am trying to say is we should concentrate on our home-front a bit.
At home, we are not doing fine, and we seem to say the FG is responsible for everything.

Let us build our base to be stronger from scratch. Dem Don see us finish.

Even if the APC gives OUK or Rochas today, I know many SEners that won't even vote them.

Maybe Obi or Umahi...but they are no where near National Appeal.

So, my brother.....let us go back home and re-strategise.
You're talking from several fronts and not making actual sense.

This not about victory or defeat, this is about the reality on the ground. There are many power blocs that will never vote an Igbo man. The only way an Igbo man can be president of Nigeria is if the two man parties, APC and PDP, field Igbo presidential candidates. Any other thing is waste of time. If an Igbo man cannot be President in 2023, then let Atiku be President and Obi be vice- President. No 2 position is better than no position

Let me give you free information.

OBJ successfully blemished Atiku as a corrupt person. OBJ himself is just as dirty in my personal opinion but...Northerners would ALWAYS see Atiku in that light.

Igbos were NEVER forgiven for the 1966 coup in the North. Sample 100 people randomly in the North... if you get more than 20% who would vote for an Igbo, I owe you money.

Seeing an Igbo on the ticket is a no-go area for an average Northerner.

I personally feel it's unfair but that's the brutal bitter reality.

]Seriously, some South easterners are somnambulists

PDP is a party they’ve been laboring faithfully and assiduously since 1999, now that is the time to reap from it, they decide abandoning it to Atiku.

The other party which they labeled evil and all sorts of devious names, APC, they want to reap from.

What makes one think that he can work in MTN office and expecting the wage from a Globacom company if not a somnambulant?[/quote]

Nothing shocking about it, don't u hear the story of two women fighting over a child in the Bible? Judgement of King Solomon, Igbo prefers dividing d living child than allow the child to live.

How exactly did Shagari manage to defeat owolowo with an Igbo VP barely 9 years after the war ended??

Have u forgotten that this nation is cursed and detests good things. If Nigeria were to be a nation with the tiniest glory of God in, Peter Obi and his likes across the nation would be ruling us and not this set of vampires currently slicing us in piecemeals.

Ask yourself why Peter Obi was hidden in the North during the last campaign. I was there..by the way.

The problem with these people is that they talk too much. So sometimes they make us overrate them. When these folks talk about Peter Obi and Okonjo Iweala, you would think they are serious. The PDP brandishes Peter Obi and Okonjo Iweala, like Christmas clothes. Now 2023 is the turn of the Igbos, the PDP isn’t enthusiastic about fielding them.

Why can’t the PDP reciprocate the love Igbos have shown it and field Peter Obi? Or present Okonjo Iweala. No, they won’t. The PDP thinks that fielding an Igbo man will be a political mistake. So when would it be politically astute for the PDP to field an Igbo man?

You won’t hear from Abaribe speak about Igbo presidency, his party and 2023. Mba… you won’t. Because there is no Buhari to insult in this matter. Why can’t Abaribe summon the courage, his usual courage, and tell the PDP that 2023 is the turn of the Igbos and that it is non-negotiable?

The same things I said when I wrote a similar article about this. They called me all manner of names. Now, this!

Thats why PDP should field a Northerner and an Igbo man as vice- President. There is no point PDP fielding an Igbo man in 2023 if it will result in certain loss. Northerners will never vote an Igbo man to be President of Nigeria

Remove Okonjo Iweala's name. Now that she has voluntarily taken up American citizenship, she can no longer contest to be a senator, governor or president in Nigeria.

Let PDP get back to power....

Originally, if GEJ had won the 2015 election....Come 2019 general elections, an Igbo man was supposed to be the next president...

Power shifted to a different party and the hoodlums there are trying to balance their party and avoid zoning of presidency.....
