If it’s true it makes sense and isn’t new sha. This is how it used to be initially. . They only picked randomly for interviews before they made it compulsory for all to be interviewed according to their previous process reports

No, it’s for dependents who didn’t get the appropriate IHS fee. If at the point of paying IHS you realize the dependents IHS fee is lower than that of the main applicant and you are all traveling together, then add months because you are all required to pay same. It is not for everyone please

Yes. End date is the date the BRP expires.

A mail will be sent to You by UkVi that your BRP has been sent .if you receive this mail then your Visa has been granted. That is one way to know you v been granted if you receive the mail before collecting your passport

Administrative review is available to all students who have been refused visas (this is usually stated on the refusal notices) but you'd have to download the AR form, fill it and send it to the email address on the refusal notice.
It takes roughly 2 weeks to conclude.
Success rate is something I can't categorically state since the AR process is like a black box outside of the visa application process.

Did mine just the other day and they were saying it could take a week or more and I'm sceptical that it shouldn't take that long.

Depends on you but it must show your 28-day period which must be before your application. If you're using self-service, you'll need to upload your statement before your appointment.

It was the news I received today as well but phone interviews are still on. So still be prepared.
