tot: Well if someone is poor in maths, the person would also struggle in engineering. Some engineering courses have more difficult mathematics than computer science. tensazangetsu20: OP be careful with this advise... Whilst there are some Engineering courses still at the lowest ebb in Nigeria... The ones like Civil, Electrical are really good... Then you mentioned programming...  As an Engineering student if you have the interest Programming is easy to learn... Personally, I topped the joint engineering class of about 9 department in core programming courses including Computer Engineering and Computer Science student in my Year 2 Even as a Civil Engineering Student. Still in Year 4 though... Till today I still solve algorithms for CS and CE students and even take jnrs tutorial.. Coding is a thing of the heart... No. 1 Jose Portilla of Udemy a guru in Python is A Mechanical Engineer... I have been coding since secondary school...So no rules anywhere... Though i am of the believe that everyone should know how to code.. E get why!!! As an Engineer you can do anything you like... But the koko be say don't think of working for someone that's my only advice. Everyone be saying CS... You can comfortably apply for Full CS course on Coursera with certificate from university of Michigan on Coursers... But you can never study Engineering online... Great Question. 1) Health is wealth. Hit the gym and eat healthy food. Try taking an apple, everyday. 2) We are in the internet age, ensure you have an internet business. 3) Learn a high income skill. Eg. Coding, graphics designer, forex trading, copywriting etc. 4) If you want to be rich, learn how to sell. The best way to also make money in sales is to sell something you truly belive in. 5) Network Network Network. In this century, if you are not helping people live better lives, you won't be successful. After you find a skill you are interested in, make sure you find a network marketing company to join asap. They will help you grow. 6) Focus on the future. You have to be now, who you want to become in future. Eg. Look at C-ronaldo. When he played for sporting fc, at that age, he never knew he would be the best footballer in the world. He only had a vision of being the best at what he choose. Football. 7) Stop chasing women, chase the bag. Once you are focused on your goals and dreams, you will attract the right woman for your life  Delete your friends. You don't need any friend now. Stay lonely and grind. You want real friends and not fakers9) Read. This is because there are people who have achieved what you want in life. The best way to get close to them is to read their books. If you want to be a rich pastor like oyedepo, read his books. The bible says, follow the wise and you shall be wise. 10) GOD IS THE GREATEST. Find your purpose and follow it. Because one day, every man is bound to die. We all are going back to our creator. The resources you need to succed is in Nigeria. It is only going to be hard because we are lacking the basic amenities needed in our country. This is no excuse. Because the internet has leveled the success battle field. The best thing you can do for yourself is learning a skill even while you face your academics. You have all the time to yourself now, limit the distractions and learn a digital and/or financial skill and your future will thank you for it.
