Then I sat down to analyze the situation and conditions surrounding the issue critically.

Many of these ministers of God’s homes are intact, not because they are good, love or respect their wives.
The women have been the ones holding and keeping the home which is based more on African culture of perseverance even when persecuted in the home by the husband than the scripture.

Many of these women aren’t comfortable and enjoying the homes, they are just enduring, struggling and pretending to the public that all is well.
If all of these our Ministers’ wives are white or have the white mentality, many of them might have left the homes like Anita Oyakhilome.

Hmm, I wish them happy blissful stay together. But that young man should know that he will never know what has been served inside the plate on the dining table to remain in marriage. Many people who wants to keep their marriage failed because they did not know how to cook such food or intentionally refused to cook because she wants the man to stay alive and a such whoulf rather leave the man alive than turn him into half animal. [b]I have read through this your assertion critically and I have compared it with what happens in my part of the white community that I live and converse with, I can tell you, your assertion is not correct. I have seen so many men and women remain married here.

I have seen a family still together married even after 50 years together without a child. I have seen another still married even when the husband was diagnosis of a particular disease that is terminal. I have seen others remain married and encouraging each other. These are just a few case that I can mention. So, it is not actually a white mentality thing as claimed by you. Infact, I would say that true and genuine love dwells in these people's hearts both in their families and church communities not based on material things as is the case now in most Nigerian relationships. One thing I know is that, infidelilty is a deal breaker amongst them here.

The success of a marriage rests with the woman, like you said, it is up to her to try civilise her man and keep the home together. God didn't create the man to be calm and a home builder. Testosterone wasn't made to work like that.

It is a pity most men can't love their wives as God has instructed and the modern woman sees no wisdom in being submissive to their partners. It is quite complicated. It takes the grace of God, tolerenace and perseverance for a marriage to get past the first 5 years.

Feminism, something I support, has been turned into a wicked tool by the devil to cut short marriages. I believe the woman should have her right to self determination and expression in society and business but when she decides to get married, she has to let go of some freedom. A woman who has made up her mind to build a career like a man should be ready to sacrifice marriage. She shouldn't bother getting married and she can have a partner and children as she pleases but no need for marriage.

Unfortunately, the Nigerian feminist also wants to get married and it isn't long before patriarchy and feminism tears the marriage apart and she becomes a single mother that she tried avoiding.

That Pastor shouldn't have lambast Rev Chris like that. Even after the divorce Pastor Chris and the church is waxing stronger and greater. That didn't affect the Grace and Anointing upon him. Even the wife of great Apostle Joseph Babalola gave him serious issues during his time. Besides I don't even understand why a pastor will be attacking another pastor on the alter.

That is a false story of Apostle Joseph Babalola's wife. It was a lie carried on for years till the truth came out.

The woman in question remained a fervent women in the Lord till she died with no history of issues.
