Was is also because societal validation, adam married eve, was it because of what people would say Noah children got married .. marriage is jus a fundament of life.
As humans we have a desire in us to either be with someone or just av kids which necessitates marriage. the fact is nobody wants 2 be alone, if u don't want a lover you wuld desire kids nature compel us somehow.
