P0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor - Your Speedometer won't function, erratic transmission shifting.
It is located on the transmission.

P0401 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation -
EGR passage clogged
Faulty EGR Vacuum Modulator Valve
Faulty EGR Valve
Faulty EGR solenoid valve
EGR solenoid valve harness is open or shorted
EGR solenoid valve circuit poor electrical connection
Dead (Weak) battery
Faulty EGR temperature sensor and circuit
Exhaust gas leaks.

It can make the car hesitate or stall.

P0120 - Throttle Position Sensor
Erratic rpm.
Just change the Throttle body.

P0105 - Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor
Change the MAP Sensor.

Run diagnosis boss, it can be the Solenoid for that.

They are outside the tranny. About two of them and couple of sensors

U0100 - Lost Communication With Engine Control Module/Powertrain Control Module

Let's talk about U0100 fault code and how serious this could be.

The PCM/ECU also know as the BRAINBOX, communicate with all other sensitive part of a car architecture to achieve a maximum output.
The ECU/PCM have programmed information about what messages are needed to be exchanged on the serial data circuits.
There two dedicated wires for communication namely CAN High and CAN low, which Carrie's 2.5V and as high as 3.75V. Any interruption between this set standard causes total failure.

Possible Causes

◇ Check for more codes
◇Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) / Powertrain
Control Module (PCM)
◇ECM/PCM harness is open or shorted
◇ ECM/PCM circuit poor electrical connection

Possible Symptoms

■ Vehicle not starting
■ Check Engine light.

Possible Solutions

When you car throw up this fault code, first inspect the ECM/PCM wiring for any breach, check the connectors. If all is in order remove the ECM/PCM check the pin for bent or rusty pin.
The solution if all is good is to replace the ECM/PCM.

What I did of recent is checking the plugs and coil, then firing the nozzles. And check for broken or leaking air hoses. Finally changing the charcoal cannister

Possible causes

Second

Fuel saturated engine oil
Vacuum leak
Unmetered air leaks
Oil contamination in MAF connector or O2 sensor connectors
Leakage in ignition coils, Cam and Crank sensor and/or oil sensors which contributes to intrusion of oil in wiring harness
Bad O2 sensor
Defective MAF sensor
Defective fuel pressure regulator
Leaking camshaft adjuster solenoids

Valve Body

I will be talking about valve body this morning based on most questions I get from people on here.

What is a Valve?
a device for controlling the passage of fluid or air through a pipe, duct, etc., especially an automatic device allowing movement in one direction only.

What is then a Valve Body?

An automatic transmission system has a valve body, which serves as the main control center. The valve body has numerous passages and channels within the valve body. It allows the flow of hydraulic fluid to different valves to direct the right clutch and switch the gear appropriately according to the driving situation.

The Valve Body consists of different Solenoid that helps control the flow of tranny fluid to direct the right clutch and switch the gear appropriately.

The Solenoid are labelled for each gear operation they are designed for, once a Solenoid goes bad, it affect the seamless operation of the transmission system.

Possible codes like

P0729-P0736: indicate problems with the gear ratio. Each code specifies the individual gear. These codes may occur if the transmission fluid is low, a clutch in the torque converter malfunctions or if there is a damaged solenoid both mechanical and electrical.

Note:[/b]Valve body design varies with Automobile companies, both in design and placement.

Good day gurus. A friend want to replace his corolla 06 engine tomorrow, and he want to buy the engine by himself in benin. Pls any suggestion on what to look for and how to get grade A engine

Hello car gurus. Pls I need your help. My vehicle is not raising high when throttled hence resulting to a sluggish movement when it's manual gear is engaged in gear 4 and 5. Both the fuel pump and sensor were changed but the problem persisted. Could it be that the timing belt was not properly seated when the engine was replaced. The car is Daihatsu Hijet Cargo.
Pls help me.

Thatz good. Can you go on Google to check reviews.

Then take an extra step to try it on a dying engine!

Thanks... Nano Energizer WORKS and the results are mind blowing
