I am going to bank with zenith bank from now on, this is what a bank should look like.

Good move, but dont go and do 48hrs investment expecting 100% returns...

The guy was just luck that the other guy (fraudster) was still learning...

If not, they dont care If the account is frozen.

Email your bank with all your evidence of transaction and interactions and copy EFCC and CBN anti-fraud unit in the mail. You will get a response though no guarantee that you will get your money back but it is worth a trial. Make sure you're mailing the right address o, you can take to Google to confirm the email addresses of your bank, CBN and EFCC.

What is the email of cbn anti fraud unit.

The same thing happened to me too on the same whatsap TV and I sent messages immediately to my mumu first bank and nothing was done by the bank uptill now and I strongly believe that first bank is encouraging fraud in nigeria like seriously
At this point, I honestly will open an account with zenith or UBA and move all my savings from first bank.

Few weeks ago, I made a transaction on my phone to some one. I haven't even seen the receipt from the stupid app when I received a debit alert. But by the time the receipt could show, I received a second debit alert. When I checked, I found out I was debited on both cases..HOW?? As in....I initiated the transaction once but got debited twice. HOW?

I kept wondering and and called the person I sent money to..he said he only got one alert. But even on my app transaction history, you will clearly see the double debits.

I reached out to the actual first bank staffs that attended to me when I opened the account, till today nothing was done about it. I didn't have time to pursue it cos it was small money so I forgot it. But I have been scared of using that app since then.

Met this guy the other day and he was going on and on about similar investment and how his wife just discovered a new one.
I was asking specific questions which he couldn't answer. At a point he gave up and told me to check it out myself on his phone. Long story short, free cash na scam...

Forget the topic am sure you got the idea.

There is this whatsapp TV that I have been following for a Long time and the guy always advertise MBA Investment Trading and How I can get 100% of my investment in 48hours, After various testimonies he kept displaying I decided to give it a try.

Firstly I messaged him for details and he told me all the bla bla bla of How it works. I was only interested in the part Where I will get my money doubled.

Fast forward to After I sent him the first 5k he said that one was for registration that now I should invest, at that point I began to suspect Fowl play but my 5k was already inside let me just see it through, so I added the 10k.

Next day he was complaining that it refuse to invest and that the platform for 10k investment was giving issues that if I have 5k I should add so that he can add up and invest 15k and I will get back 40k, I told him that was all I had.

The story is getting to Long. Long story short he kept giving one story or the other then it was clear to me that I have been scam. I was so ashamed that I did not tell anyone.

Then I mailed my bank about the matter and asked them if there is any resolution. They replied that I should take a screenshot of the conversation Which I did.

It's a month Plus now I have even forgotten about the issue when the Scammer messaged me pleading that he will refund me the 15k because he got a letter from his bank threatening to freeze is account if he does not resolve issues with me. I was finally able to get my money back. I have messaged my bank about the refund and I hope they relay the message on time to his bank.

WOW... One of my friend collected money from me during pandemic and promised to pay back but till date he has not paid me the money. He even threatened that I will collect my money in hell.

Omo, I will reach out to my bank and see what can be done.

Nice Job from Zenith Bank to UBA
so what to learn is that when ever you are discussing on chat with someone try your best to always screenshot all convo because they'll just delete all chats when they are done.

Almost all. By taking into account the ROI they promise you will know which of them is scam. Anyone that promises more than 40% ROI a year is more than likely a scam. WHY? Because the risk involved in farming is immense forget people sugarcoating it, All it will take is just a little mistake and you end up losing everything. But the issue is that people want to be millionaires overnight and that is what is encouraging this type of scammers.

Hahaha! This sounds weird, but you have a point.

Imagine if it was false allegation, with photoshopped screenshots as proof, that is how they would have frozen the innocent guy account for nothing.

I am sure GTB and Firstbank wouldnt do such, until you bring police report and court order.
Tf you talking about? UBA, the scammer's bank asked him to send proof he got the said amount legally as they have already verified he received them.
