Hahaha! This sounds weird, but you have a point.

Imagine if it was false allegation, with photoshopped screenshots as proof, that is how they would have frozen the innocent guy account for nothing.

I am sure GTB and Firstbank wouldnt do such, until you bring police report and court order.

its obvious you didn't even take the time to read the chats before rushing to post. In the letter the guy was given two weeks to explain and prove the allegations were false. His account hasn't been blocked yet, except if he fails to respond with reasonable explanation as regards the business. Are you a scammer? you sure sound like one because Honest people sees it as a win

FirstBank encourages fraud, I can testify to that... I abandoned my account with them since 2018.

I agree with you 100%.
Just that I don't have their time yet. I got a debit alert N5,999 during lockdown and all effort to reach them proved abortive. They wouldn't respond to mails, neither would they respond to calls. It's the worst bank I ever had!

Forget the topic am sure you got the idea.

There is this whatsapp TV that I have been following for a Long time and the guy always advertise MBA Investment Trading and How I can get 100% of my investment in 48hours, After various testimonies he kept displaying I decided to give it a try.

Firstly I messaged him for details and he told me all the bla bla bla of How it works. I was only interested in the part Where I will get my money doubled.

Fast forward to After I sent him the first 5k he said that one was for registration that now I should invest, at that point I began to suspect Fowl play but my 5k was already inside let me just see it through, so I added the 10k.

Next day he was complaining that it refuse to invest and that the platform for 10k investment was giving issues that if I have 5k I should add so that he can add up and invest 15k and I will get back 40k, I told him that was all I had.

The story is getting to Long. Long story short he kept giving one story or the other then it was clear to me that I have been scam. I was so ashamed that I did not tell anyone.

Then I mailed my bank about the matter and asked them if there is any resolution. They replied that I should take a screenshot of the conversation Which I did.

It's a month Plus now I have even forgotten about the issue when the Scammer messaged me pleading that he will refund me the 15k because he got a letter from his bank threatening to freeze is account if he does not resolve issues with me. I was finally able to get my money back. I have messaged my bank about the refund and I hope they relay the message on time to his bank.

Na wah for you o. Invest your money with person wey use naked yansh as profile DP?

Email your bank with all your evidence of transaction and interactions and copy EFCC and CBN anti-fraud unit in the mail. You will get a response though no guarantee that you will get your money back but it is worth a trial. Make sure you're mailing the right address o, you can take to Google to confirm the email addresses of your bank, CBN and EFCC.

Well done to Zenith bank, my account in UBA Akpakpava branch Benin City was closed and the money stolen when I travelled abroad, I went to the bank on my return visit, the manager promised me but no trace of this salary account as a civil servant then and through which I bought my BTA. I wrote severally t the HQ mainly to reactive this account but, no response from the HQ

Lol. Those Telegram people? They duped me once but that was when I wanted to buy bitcoin. I had been seeing many testimonies there and the guy even said his escrow fee was 5% just to sound legit enough. The idiot collected my money and blocked me.
As for those investment people, anytime they add me, I will just type "Bastard scammers", then report spam and leave grin cheesy

Access Bank ecourages fraud too. Since April, I sent two letters to them concerning a 45k scam. Non response till now.

Called customer care on 3 occasions, no resolution till now. I no longer bank with them.

Zenith bank has always been there for their customers. I bank with them.

my guy , take my advise, dont let a thief go, his account should be blocked, tell ur bank to refund u from his account and freeze his account or they should notify the police, he will do same to somebody else , teach him a big lesson, dont say i did not warn u, do u think he will refund u if the bank had not contacted him? see if u dont involve the police in this , i will do it my self

Is this possible? I have a case where I lend a friend money and I didn't want to give it if not that he included that is for the sake of the newborn baby. He later turned and told me that he will not pay me anything and that I will receive my money in hell...

Can I report this case to central bank or my bank against his Bank to have his account frozen or blocked?

Please advise.

The reason why it is always good to do bank transfer when doing any business transaction. Cash payment or airtime transfer would have lost the money to the scammer forever. Good job to your bank!

Op, which bank is your bank?

The same thing happened to me too on the same whatsap TV and I sent messages immediately to my mumu first bank and nothing was done by the bank uptill now and I strongly believe that first bank is encouraging fraud in nigeria like seriously

Go to their social media handles and report the matter again, quoting when you you sent the message and making reference to how Zenith Bank quickly responded to the same case of their customers. I bet they will respond.

Nice Job from Zenith Bank to UBA
so what to learn is that when ever you are discussing on chat with someone try your best to always screenshot all convo because they'll just delete all chats when they are done.

LMAO I can relate to this. But unfortunately for this fellow I was using gb WhatsApp then so I could still see and screenshot the chats grin

Someone tells you they would double your money in 48 hours, you no ask how? You don't ask what business are they into that allows such awesome profits? You just believed and because of your own greediness yoiu fell into a trap, you're lucky the person you were dealing with was not a professional. Pros would have used a dummy account, transfer the money to another dummy account, convert it into bitcoin and that's the end of it, you'll never see your money again. If you like go all the way to CBN, you won't get shi shi back, you were lucky this time but give yourself brain, if it's too good to be true, IT'S PROBABLY A SCAM!
