I would like to know if you can have a connection to the Polish embassy in Abuja. I have 40,000 naira to pay for an appointment to submit my application

If you have pressed submit then you would need to pay for assisted service at the VAC. Hold the almost 12k in your atm card

@giselle273, i have 12k in my atm card now, hmmm’ i am just curious if that amount is enough for them to deduct for Assisted Service doc’s uploading.

Anyone who have paid for assisted service at tlscontact office Ikeje should shed more light to save a soul/me pls, was it 12,000 Naira, or do they charge (Pounds to Naira) exchange rates ?

Hello guys. Is it true that tier 4 visa will no longer be in Vogue from October 5th?
It true then what happens to us who may apply for Visa around 5th or 6th after counting 28days?

Good morning all, please is it a must to buy a return ticket for your visit visa or you can simply buy a one way and get the other when you are ready to come back

One way ticket is for anyone with immigrant visa or study permit/visa.

You need a return ticket when purpose of your traveling is tourism
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mimilyrics: 9:39pm On Sep 11, 2020
When you say in vogue, what do you mean?

The Tier 4 visa will always be in vogue since it's the visa that allows students come to the UK though there are bound to be changes from time to time.

There are changes to the IHS fees for students from October 2020; IHS increases from £300 for each year of study to £470.

From January, the PBS changes a bit. Student points increases from 40 to 70 which covers having a valid CAS, finances, acceptable English language requirements. Students will also be able to apply for visas 6 months before their courses as opposed to the current 3 months.

The graduate route (PSW) will officially kick off next summer and those who successfully conclude their courses from next summer will be able to apply for the PSW.

I will update this comment with the link to the document as soon as I find it.

Please, I will appreciate your respond on this. Biko Biko.

You will need to write a statement to explain that your employer pays salary in cash. Also let your employer confirmed this.

Immigration does not always have time to call your invitee and that’s what I was trying to tell one fella here last week. They generally do not have time to be making phone calls for visit visa invitation. You should have provided more documents such as birth certificates (you both), family photos, phone conversations or text messages affirming your visit, and other supporting documents.

Also submitting a bank statement without or few deposits from your company account is a red flag.
Anyway no biggie, just reorganise yourself and reapply sometime later. Do not reapply immediately because it could suggest desperation.

All the best

You’ve said all I was going to say while I was reading his story. Re organize your documents. Your brother should provide his bank statements, receipts for bills etc in the uk. . . Maybe add pictures of you both and the likes to show that you actually know each other. Then sort your statement out

Hello Justwise, hope you are good?

Please help with your insight,

I need to apply for a visiting visa to the UK.

I completed my masters in the UK in 2015 and have not travelled back ever since.

Now I intend to visit my friend who has a job of 20+Pound per annum.

I have a Job in Nigeria paying 270k monthly although on a monthly basis i save part of my take home in a different account which is not my salary account and a different bank to be precise. Although the fund in the account is over 1.5 million.

What do you recommend here please?

Please note, my travel history is ok. I visited Dubai in January. i visited 4 other countries in the past.

Thank you.

Good day all.

Please I’m having trouble paying for my UK visa fee. I keep getting this error message and I have more than enough funds in the account. I’ve even tried several banks(FCMB , Stanbic, GTB) still same issue. Any advice please? It’s urgent

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Nobody: 6:34am On Sep 12, 2020
Please is there a different payment platform or I’m supposed to pay directly on the visa application page cause that’s where I’m experiencing this challenge.

If I remember I used TLS 2years Ago but on the visa application page now there a payment route. Please someone who just successfully completed an application and made payment should help me out here.....Covid has stopped me from seeing my family for almost a year

You can no longer make payments online using naira cards linked to naira accounts because payments are capped.
You will have to use a card linked to a foreign currency account to do so (so-called domiciliary accounts) or get someone abroad to make the payment for you.

Alternatively, there is a route using a payment provider called Paga that some people have successfully used; go back a few pages on this thread to the beginning of August and look for the posts detailing the method.

@nonso10 , please can you update us about Turkish airline and covid at Lagos airport. You must have travelled by now. It will be painful for one to go and spend 50,400naira doing covid test only to find out on boarding day that it is not required.

from what i know, Turkish airline doesnt require the covid test certificate upon entry. D problem i am having in booking flight with the airline is that, the prices are really high this month, even Emirate is still affordable just that they require the covid test cert. This country don tire me.

Please can someone let me know if UK embassy has jurisdictions for different location like France embassy does.
For instance those coming from northern region goes to Abuja embassy for visa application while those coming from east and west goes to Lagos embassy for visa application based on your address location. I experienced that during my French visa application. Thanks
