Matthew 6:9 NWT "You must pray ,then, this way: Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified."
Bros, which other English Bible is as easy to understood like the NWT? Where is the corruption you placed in it? Or the so called 'corruption' is a figment of your imagination?
Quote John 1:1 from NWT here

Madibah:

But why did the Bible tell us Abraham has only one child when we know it's two
Ishmael and Isaac
Should I continue?

Which Bible told you that Abraham had only one child?
From where did you get the name "Ishmael"?

Please the Bible is categorical and clear on the offsprings of Abraham...

For Abraham had his first son out of adultery and lack of patience with God on the promised child.

While on the other hand, Issac was the child of promise as well as the child of covenant and the seed of the fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham , a child through which Israel was birthed.

And for your notice, after the death of Sarah, Abraham had another wife who had children for him (you can go back to the scriptures and see for yourself) but like Ishmael who was a product of adultery, these other children had no stake in the story of Abraham

I am a Muslim, what makes you think your family members are uncircumcised? You went to peep at your father and uncles'penis?

Seondly, are you held here at gun point? Why not go to your regular porn sites?

A traditional Muslim... What else can u say without referring to sex.... We know that islam and pussy are like 5 and 6.

At least you are here freely airing your miserable mind without molestation of any sort, something that cannot be seen in your intolerant cult called religion.

You see the difference between a religion that upholds the true nature of God (Christianity) and an evil and blood sucking cult of your own so called religion tongue

You seem like a well-read guy but I believe you really don't have answers to any of my questions You are really sure reading so old German text writen by a nazist like Martin Luther would answer the questions I raised?
Exodora:

For you to know I suggest you to read pre-reformation history of the Bible from 1,400 B.C to 1400 A.D.
Read on : John Wycliffe ,
Johann Gutenberg - He invented the printing press in the 1450's
John Colet
Erasmus
Martin Luther and the host of others . While I was in school we read some of this cause many of them were German scholars .
For instance I studied German in the higher institution and I want to go into translation in my PhD with this I can go into translating books , music , movie and many other things .

Re: What's Your Favourite Bible Translation And Why? by Tcwork: 11:55pm On Sep 13, 2020
Yea I asked a question and you suggested things you know little about. If you don't have an answer you don't always have to comment.

I said quote John 1:1 according to your NWT book and instead of doing that you are beating about. You can deceive some people but not everybody.

Most people have the same mindset, they're just going to the dancing hall claiming Christians!

Christianity is not a religion that attracts pleasure seekers, it's only for faithful, honest, obedient and loyal worshipers. That's the import of the Parable of SHEEP and GOATS! Matthew 25:31-46

The sheep means individuals who wants to know what is right or wrong so that he/she could join those adhering to God's standard!

The goats means individuals seeking to please their heart desires, so whatever pleases them is the driving force behind whatever they are doing regarding worship!

That's why Jesus said he never knew them {Matthew 7:21-23} because they never cared to know what are the standards Jesus set exactly so that they can submit to it with other fellow believers globally, each of them just want to set his own standard or choose the one that pleases him/her out of the existing ones! smiley

Knowledge is the accumulation of useful information, of course everyone you're seeing have knowledge about one thing or another.

But Wisdom is the practical application of accumulated information which leads to lasting benefits. Only God's people can have this!

If a Bible version is translated under the supervision of God's Holy Spirit {John 14:26} those making use of it will stand out as the best Bible students throughout the world! Matthew 5 :13-16 compare to James 2:18-26 smiley

What was the question the raised again . How are we sure if some of this trasnlators' translated well.
What I was trying to point out if only you made any research on them.
Some of them may not be christians like we all know but the ones that were, had to study the language in other to .
My studying of German language offer me the opportunity to know that we have German Catholics than every others.
I have a Muslim friend we study in the Arab after his graduation he is making plans to studying Arabic over . With this I think he can make a better translation of the language .
First he has been immersed with the people translation will be more easier.
So the answer to your question is yes in the sense that be any book can publised what so ever book it maybe it must be thoroughly scrutinized.
If am to tanslated a book to Hausa language it must pass through the original speakers for a review before being published .

If you're talking about Lawanii22, i'm not sure of what he/she teaches, but regarding the Bible it teaches about sex education better than any other counselor you can think off.
It's those criminals claiming Pastors that's misrepresenting God's word, teaching their own man-made doctrines, God is the one who created the male and female organ so he didn't leave us without teaching us how to make the best use of it! undecided

Leave church if you may. But don't leave God and Christ.
Re: What's Your Favourite Bible Translation And Why? by Nobody: 7:45pm On Sep 14, 2020
Kayw4re:

Leave church if you may. But don't leave God and Christ.

Without the Church there is no way anyone can be connected to God!
God has presented his only begotten Son {John 3:16} so without this son of God no one can be saved {John 14:6} God's Son worked for three and a half years to gather a group of persons and made them his representatives, whatever they bind or loose on earth will be like that in heaven! Matthew 16:19

So if you're not with the Church Jesus will never acknowledge you {John 15:4-9} because you must know the rules binding all the disciples of Christ together as one {Matthew 28:20; John 17:20-23} you will join them in working together to make more disciples {2Timothy 4:1-2} you must continue to meet together with them to for interchange of encouragement! Hebrew 10:24-25

In the absence of all these you can't be a Christian, Christianity can't be practiced while you're avoiding fellow believers! Luke 11:23

So this call for a thorough research on the part of an individual to ascertain the true group belonging to Jesus because Jesus is just one person all his true followers must be like minded! 1Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:3; Philippians 2:14; Colossians 2:2 smiley
