The name was bought with the intention of selling to end-users outside the .com category. (Because most will likely reply with a response of the extension being use for NON-Profit activities, which is right ).

After purchase, the name was listed on epik.com marketplace.

Then the hunt began.

Many may be familiar with this but let me share..

I decided to search in a sorted way on google by using this command;

Site:.org Insurance Texas (Meaning it will bring only .org organizations with the keywords)

And that was it, I did an outbound to one end user, few minutes later buyer proceed to buy.

And that was it.

All happened in a day! The same day it was listed on epik.com. it sold!

Glory be to God.

I doubt if I'd register this type of name in .org. Even if I did, I'd probably not price it more than $200. See life? That's why it pays to go with gut feeling occasionally.

I caught a glimpse of someone reporting a "busrentals" name sale. I saw several of those in the past week or so and I ignored. $100 no be small money for Naija o.

The bold is somewhat a new one to me. Although I have known about that search operator (and several others) for many years, I have never used it in that way. I used ".net" with keywords and the results weren't always fantastic. Nice one.

This is my first sales actually and I give all glory to God. it is not easy. I started domaining early may this year, I applied for iykepromotion training and I am glad I did.

when I started domaining I was so desperate to sell this domain because I was so broke but God time is always the best. I did alot of outbound and follow up, the last outbound I did was the second week of last month august.

I even out bounded the domain right here on this thread to tell you how desperate I was. when out bounding here, a lot of folks were making jest of me... itz all good, I appreciate it all CU's we are one big family here. your jest made me more focus.

early September I was notified by afternic that the domain has been sold.

I give God all the glory for helping me to make my first sales. I pray for more fast sales for us all... amen

my advice to my fellow domainers is that don't ever give up, life is not always a bed of roses, the fact that you did not sell your domain now doesn't mean you will not sell the domain Still... just ensure you are patient and prayerful. and when you do make your sales, always ensure you give your tithe...

Also, ensure you buy domain with a lot of end users and buy a quality domain that even you are sure that you will be able to sell it...

chai congrats my broda your story touched me, cus I had such mentality as you but my problem is too much desperation I buy 11 domains out of desperation after attending lykepromotion class, but till date I have not sold any of them I even use vex delete one sef but I will not give up now, though I don't buy any more not till I make my first sale,i am only focusing on learning more about this domain industry than buying crappy names, the Lord is our strength congrats once again.

First Sale

This is one of the first set of domains I registered after I received covid-19 loan on June, looking at it From August in my portfolio I thought I don mess up

However, Iast night i decided to reduce the price to $100 and do some follow up, just so I could forget it forever, the first person I contacted replied immediately, asking me to give him instructions on how to get the domain, and the processes involved, and that was it, he paid immediately.

I really thank God, at least I have recovered the money I use buy generator for this business
