If you check SARS past records, you will understand how important they are. They fought violent crimes to a standstill.

However, today's nature of crime has changed from violent crime to cybercrime. That's why SARS does not seem to have hardened criminals to exchange gun duels with.

Despite that, it doesn't mean that the unit has become completely useless. The force just needs to reform it to align with today's reality. I think they should focus more on kidnap while the EFCC handles cybercrimes.
