Hi, do you know anyone who has gotten this visa from Nigeria?

I know of someone who has made the visa application.

232 quid for up to 3 years and about 464 quid for up to 5 years.
His COS was for 5 years though.

Should get the outcome within the next few days.
May let you know once he gets the visa.

Apparently there is an app that shows you the location of speed cameras. it's called radarbot. got mine off play store.

Secondly, has anyone got recommendations for the best suya, point and kill, peppersoup and other nigerian delicacies in london. I cant travel so will have to treat myself in london. Thanks in advance
For suya I will recommend Alhaji Suya. He's based around Peckham. Very good suya.

If you go to setting on ur phone and check the setting on you google map, it has speed camera Warning options as well as toll and other settings .... u don’t need a special app just to avoid speed camera

You need to be HCPC certified first before applying for jobs as most if not all jobs requires HCPC certification

Please I’m looking for 1 or 2 people needing a fair amount of Naira for £’s. As usual it’s a straight forward, instant process. Rate at N565.

Holla at moi mbok. Thank you.

Hahahaha freely I was given and freely I shall distribute

Thanks for the kind words tho

RalphJean:

I have a 2-pronged advise for you.
Search for @omopapa on Nairaland, browse through his posts on this matter, thank (me) him later.

Secondly, Biochemistry is a course, not a Profession (in the strictest sense of it). I would think one of your best bets is to wish to practice in the UK as a Biomedical Scientist. In this case, you need to register with the UK HCPC. But that can only be done if you either; do a relevant Masters Degree in Applied Biochemistry (for example) in a relevant (and accredited) UK school. I am assuming that you are not a registered Med Lab Scientist in Nigeria.

Thirdly, loop you my first point and study Omopapa’s posts. He has tackled this on Nairaland so much that if I was him, I probably would have started demanding payment (straight face).

For visa purpose, it needs to be printed in branch and stamped, u might have to mention to them that it is for immigration purpose incase they don’t want to stamp it

Blood scientist/haematologist and microbiologist are divisions of biomedical sciences with most jobs within the nhs. Except u have worked in Nigeria and gained experience to a certain level, passing the interview might not be as easy. Nonetheless, your first priority will be to get registered with HCPC.

I studied biochemistry. What exams do I need to pass?

Do you know why you had to ask this question again?
Because after promising to look up Omopapa’s previous posts which provide a roadmap, you didn’t follow through on that promise.
Question: what do you want to practice as?

I intend working in assistive health care positions first because the only experience I have is in IT. No post graduation experience in lab work. But I have post graduation experience in health education and sensitization activities.

thanks. What about outside of the NHS?
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by omopapa: 9:34am On Sep 19, 2020
NHS is the largest employer of labour in medical settings in the U.K., the chances of getting of a job outside the NHS in medical field is limited.

Good day.

Please I still have need for some more clarifications.
1. Can I use my National identity number(NIN) to replace the National Insurance Number(NIN) in the HCPC form; or how can i get the National insurance Number?

National Insurance Number is only for UK residents

2. My supervisor has no official email as requested by HCPC but my manager has, but less knowledgeable in my field. What should i do and who should i use?

You need someone who can backup your experience

Pls where can I notarize my documents in Lagos and at what price

Have you got your transcripts?
Have you written IELTS?
Have you done a NARIC statement of comparability?
Have you filled in your course information form (as found in the HCPC Website?).

If I recall well, you previously mentioned you are a MLS yes? Have you cleared all you need to clear with the MLSCN and AMLSN?
