She has to do it herself, salvation is a very personal race, no intercession. But if she did then she's surely saved. She might not have done it to your seeing but hopefully she did.

In broad terms as long as there is life, there is hope. Mark my words carefully, HOPE is leaning to God. Concerning your sister, the 'we prayed' I assume refers to you and her. If it doesn't I'm afraid you cannot 'pray salvation' into anyone's life. Each individual has a soul that is as different as two SIM cards on a network. One cannot plainly gain access to another's conversations.

No, biblical salvation doesn't work that way. You have to CONFESS it PUBLICLY with your OWN MOUTH. Believing is just one part of it and it won't work without the second part, which is personal confession. Someone praying for her and she accepting in her heart means she believed the prayer, but without a public confession of your faith in Jesus. Remember Jesus said something like those who denied him before people on Earth, he will also deny them before his Father in Heaven. Meaning people who didn't publicly confess their faith in Jesus won't and can't get salvation. There has to be a public open declaration with your own mouth.

see let me tell you something about this God that you people dont know. he can decide to go to hellfire now and bring out one person there and make him clean and put this person in heaven and nobody can question that authority. Personally,there are two ways to this.
1- If she has confessed Jesus Christ as her lord nd saviour before then , she is saved.But she might have committed sin even after confessing the lordship of Jesus Christ, which is why confessions of sins come in nd according to 1 John 1 ,the blood of Jesus Christ is used for cleansing from all unrighteousness.
2.- If she has confessed the lordship of Jesus Christ,nd she has sin after the confessions,the elders of the church can pray for her nd ask for forgiveness on her behalf nd the sin shall be forgiven her according to the book of James.
Remember Jesus Christ said to his disciples, whosoever sin u forgive,the sin shall be forgiven.

Just to add to what I said earlier. Christianity is a relationship and reconciliation through Jesus Christ was obtained through the love that breeds sacrifice, true love. Contrary to a lot of thinking out there, God does not rule by fear and certainly does not want you related to Him on the basis of fear.

If you are dying and fear hell then your quest for a relationship is QUESTIONABLE. Hell should not be the reason why you seek God and should not be a reason why you follow after him. If as a man or woman I seek to get married because of the fear I have for something outside alone, for example, in our society, the fear of poverty, the fear of social rejection, etc, and not because I love the person, that relationship is certainly not genuine but just one of convenience. God doesn't want to be your parachute or escape pod but your Father and your God.

The greatest proof of salvation is one between lovers. You come to love Him after He proved His by making the ultimate sacrifice in His Son Jesus. And you love Him by giving your life to Him at your MOST inconvenience.

That is why it is best to do it today when there are doubters, mockers, and resistance aplenty.

Nobody said you should wallow in sin and wickedness because you have been redeemed and have become the Redeemed. The fact that you are the Redeemed means you have a natural tendency to not sin, you are not like the others who sin by nature because they have a sin nature, because your nature is different and is a nature of righteousness. Sin is not consistent with the Redeemed. He might sin from time to time as he is learning to grow in his new nature but he cannot be condemned for sin - NEVER! His "sin" doesn't count. And the concept of sin for the Redeemed is different from the concept of sin for those that are not Redeemed. The thing is, sin is not just an action or act or an event, it is actually a concept or theory, or law, like you have 1 + 1 = 2, sin functions the same way like a proven scientific law. Same thing with Salvation. The concepts of Sin and Salvation are among the easiest concepts or laws in the Bible, they are very straightforward to understand and not complex at all.

What if she didn't have a heart of repentance but accepted the prayer prayed on her behalf? Will she still make heaven?

I'm not God and I do not know how he thinks, but I'll explain to you how I feel he thinks, especially based on my own personal experience

If one feels he would die at a particular time, possibly because you can't breathe well or there's a gun pointed at your head.... Fine, you start to pray and ask for forgiveness from God.

What you should then ask yourself is; will I continue to live a righteous life if given a second chance?
Is the prayer for forgiveness out of sincerity and how bad you feel about your former life? .......
Or you are only praying for forgiveness out of fear of death and hell.

Now, I've noticed that people only ask for forgiveness because of fear (especially guys who belongs to various cult groups and there's a rival gang doing house search)
but when you survive that hit, you will continue in the old ways of vengeance and wickedness.

God sees our heart and he knows if you are willing to live a good life if given a second chance.
