I am not too happy with the list. Hopefully, it is a lot better when we play games that matter.

I have my eyes on Ndidi with his lacklustre performances in SE colors. With brilliant many midfielders emerging from all corners it's time we question the relevance of Ndidi. I need him to sit on the bench for a minute. After all, he is not indispensable.

Akpeyi is injured.

Who are your options?

Okoye is a decent player
We don't have options that's what I'm saying

This is not about Zuby but about an ineffectual midfielder in our fold. Ndidi must go !

This list look somehow sha ...
But I'm really really really glad for Alampasu. I hope he takes this chance with both hands and both legs. He is my preferred choice among the GKs. Uzoho has not nailed anything.
And Onyekuru didn't make the list. I perfectly understand Ejuke and Kalu are clearly ahead. I hope he sought himself out. I want him to nail that LW spot.
I have been expecting a backup for Ndidi for long...I hope Frank rise to the occasion.
An OK list for me.
BTW the last time I heard about Akpeyi, he was injured and will be out for 6 months or so.

You're 100% correct in your assertion! But many would not agree to this.

I don't really have any problem with the list. It's fair.

I would have had Azeez in though.

Ndidi has performed for Nigeria in the last three matches against Brazil, Benin and Lesotho

So no need to put him on fraud watch

You should actually put Azubuike on fraud watch because he rarely starts for his club nowadays

Istanbul Bathsheba grin

Sorry , best tackler and blocker. Never the best DM. If he was the best why aren't top clubs tabling offers for him. Ndidi is a center back but you will learn soon....bobos wey go ball put sand for him eye don dey show small small. Ndidi is stifling our midfield flow. Nigga can't ball !

See animal talk. grin

Well I don't blame you, it's Ndidi himself I blame, who is always available for national team duties most of the time because he's lucky not to be an injury prone player. Had it been that you have an Esiti serving you guys disaster class every international window, grin may be you will know what he does. To some of you , if a midfielder has not dribbled like okocha, he hasn't done shit in your eyes. Now I see the reason why some of you rate Etebo, it clearly because he Sabi form activity with aimless running and dribbling in the middle of the park. grin

Yes we need real ballers like those that cannot command starting shirt in almighty Istanbul BB and Huesca

See eidiotic talk grin

Ndidi has not added any impetus to our midfield and style..na block and tackle we wan chop. And dont make conclusions on things you have little knowledge of. Etebo is not a midfielder and most football followers know this. They let him play there because of his energy and stamina. I also dont expect Ndidi to dribble but a midfielder must add to team creativity whether he is attacking or defensive. Let Ndidi play and stop putting himself in a box.

This list is somehow. Not exciting at all!
Tijani and Agu ahead of Azeez, give me a break.
What about Alhassan at Goteborg? Where is Ehiz?

Azeez should have been invited over Tijani. I also feel Dessers is off form. Maja should have been there instead.

It is an ok list. Mathew Yakubu has been in good form this season so it is nice to see him invited.

Calling Tijani at this time just puts unnecessary pressure to "achieve" quickly on the boy's small shoulders.

Okay.. Apparently, you have a problem with the fact that Ndidi tackles, blocks and intercepts too much, isn't ?
Now, he is a defensive midfielder, right?
Can you list the functions of a defensive midfielder for us please? undecided
