I think we should try and learn to obey rules. Justwise has warned us about talking about agents but people keep talking about them.

Its not fair we should learn to obey rules.

I use a VPN when buying Lagos to London tickets and change my location from Nigeria to the UK.

Previously you usually get lower prices when you buy your tickets from the UK as opposed to buying from Nigeria, except that you have to pay with your card, which is no longer feasible with Nigerian cards.

In any case, prices on BA's website for 2nd week of October are down to tolerable levels ($410 for a one-way ticket to Manchester/Aberdeen, about 160k), and I just bought earlier today.

$410 is the basic fare I see. By the time you click to check out, taxes et al are included and it rises to about $645. Did you pay $410 today?

How much was the total cost of your flight to newcastle?

How did you book?

And how did you pay?

Yimi4real:
Arrived safely in Newcastle this morning.
BA booking was to Newcastle but of course, landed in London first before we proceeded with a local plane. For those having connecting flights, please ensure you have at least 3 hours in between your flights when booking that would give ample time for any delay. BA left an hour later than scheduled plus you need time at London airport for immigration and checking in. Border was a breeze, they only asked “where are you going and what course?”

If traveling with kids on BA, ensure you pack something for the kids to eat on board Incase they don’t want the food served. I didn’t like it too but thankfully we had a back up.

Was welcomed by family with a sumptuous poundo and Edikaikong before sleeping for hours after a very hectic weekend.

Thank you all for the support I received here, and to those still processing, wishing you all the best, we look forward to welcoming you HOME.

I have not done mine but someone that did yesterday in Abuja said I should budget 148000 naira.

Wow. This is so much on the high. Someone said he paid online and was charged 127+ I was even saying its high.

148000/220=672

I am currently sourcing for access bank card and I will drop my experience when I am done.

It is about 127k the yeye agent we used said he couldn't do it online that the interview date might change blabla. So I am opting to do it there which sucks. But some else that did it there hasn't received feedback after almost 2 weeks now. Which kinds of worry me. Now I am thinking whether the effect of doing it while paying for your application is different from doing it on the day of your biometric/interview?

I will try to pay for it online and pick whatever date I see available then go for walking. I pray they accept walk in when I will be ready.

I am using Abj what about you?

Are you using self service or assisted service? If self service, just upload your soft copy to the document upload portal. If assisted service, just print on an A4 paper in colour (must be clear and without defacement) and take along to your appointment.

Please what type of paper should I print my transcript on. I got my transcript from my sch online and I have to go to the embassy with a printed copy.

Yea, it's a downloadable app just like paypal, Ace, Azimo and the likes.
Once you download, it's easy to use. You input your source account and transfer to target accounts in available countries. You'll need to ensure that your NGN number is turned on so you can receive authentication codes.
OBYNOWEST12:
This transfer wire, is d App downloadable on smart phone.

Two, how can I fund my account on that transfer wire.

Filling the Visa application now, what's the best answer to the question "are your dependants travelling with you?"

Dependants would come but not immediately... Only main applicant wants to apply now.

One year will be mostly study, half of 2nd year would be placement, the remaining part project. And yes you will get your 2 years post study. So that is 4years in total

slimdolyin:
will it be one year for the M.sc and another one year for placement.....will also still get that 2year post study visa??
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 5:51pm On Sep 23, 2020
Yes. Saying that they will be travelling with you doesn't mean that they have to go with or join you immediately.

Pls avoid using access bank naira debit card for priority service payment.
The card limit currently is $300 and when you convert £220 to $ its above $300 so my transaction failed.

Please those who have used the priority service what method of payment did you use apart from paying at the centre and if you paid at the center, how much were you charged equivalent in Naira.
Thank you.

Damn. I made mistake in mine, I put “NO” because they are not traveling with me immediately. Is there a way I can possibly correct this error?
