Look up how him and his family doctor conspired in making up a fake diagnosis to avoid being drafted in the Vietnam war. Look up how he didn't pay taxes for over 20yrs but got a tax refund of over $98 million from the American people. Look up how his father paid someone money to take the SAT exams so he could get into Wharton Business school. Look up how he knew about the severity of the coronavirus back in February and how he could've saved more lives by shutting the economy, but he was more concerned with his reelection prospect. Look up how he's yet to denounce the police killings of black Americans but he calls members of the racist Alt Right movement "fine people."

You and many other Nigerians seems to have an affinity for so called "strong men" like Trump, Putin and Kim Jon Un, yet you condem military rule, yet you conderm corrupt Nigerian politicians. The same Trump you clowns are rooting for has called Africa a shithole. The same Trump has banned Nigerians from applying for immigrant visas such as K1 and K2. Same Trump wanted to deport all foreign students this year because schools were online, a move that would've affected numerous Nigerians by the way. When he didn't get his way with deporting foreign students on student visas, he proposed limiting the number of years foreign students can attend university before renewing their visa. Now every 2 yrs one has to go back home and reapply, doesn't matter if they are in a 4yr program.

So before you come online to spew rubbish, do your research. I could care less about American politics, but I follow both local and international affairs to keep my mind active and keep me well informed.

A newspaper was going to sponsor the 1980 Republican debate, but the Federal Communications Commission ruled that it would be illegal, so Ronald Reagan stepped in at the last minute and sponsored the debate. (Remember that Reagan had been a millionaire actor before becoming governor of California).


However, the newspaper was still in charge of making the rules for the debate and they wanted the debate to be only between the two top contenders, Ronald Reagan and George Bush The First. Reagan didn't like that idea and he wanted all the contenders to be involved in the debate.


Eventually the newspaper agreed to allow the other candidates to participate, but they were only going to be allowed to give closing remarks. They were not going to be allowed to ask or answer questions. Only Reagan and Bush would be allowed to ask and answer questions. Reagan still wasn't happy.

This video shows what happened when the moderator introduced all the candidates and then asked the "smaller" candidates to leave the stage. Ronald Reagan tried to object, but the moderator tried to shut him up. Reagan continued speaking so the moderator told the sound engineer to turn off Reagan's microphone. And then Ronald Reagan got up and said,

"MR GREEN! I AM PAYING FOR THIS MICROPHONE!"

(The moderator's name was actually Mr Breene).

All the candidates and all the people in the audience gave Reagan a standing ovation.
