Richest ? No one runs to south west but everyone uses Lagos because you spent years demarketing other regions telling lies to the world that the south west is safe and other regions are security risks

You shut down other ports just to make your port thrive but alas all that has back fired .. the world had seen the mess that is Lagos and they have fled Lagos.. for your info Kano Is the new destination...

Kano out classes Lagos from infrastructure to ease of doing business...

Your south west media won't tell you. The south west is very dangerous, with raped , armed robbery, ritual killings , fraud , Yahoo etc .. your media tries to hide it, and lately you have been suppressing numerous reports of ritual killings rapes and murder in the south west , you are posting more of reports from other regions but unfortunately it's too late .

The world knows how unsafe and poor the south west is

I suggest you stop bragging cause there really is nothing to brag with grin
Come on I smell jealousy here. You can't hide the fact the south west far outpaces other regions in terms of development. That's why over 80% of foreign investment comes here. We control the entertainment industry, commerce, banking and every industry you can think of except tomatoes and onions controlled by hausas and oil owned by south South. Forget it we ain't in anyone's league

Read well before you comment, the average life of people base in Ekiti is far better than that of people in kano,

He is not talking about income coming to state, but how people fair well in respective state
Have u bee to Kano or has he gone to Kano and stay to the max time to realise this? In Kano everyone is employable and people doesn't engage in desperate means to eat. There are more than 20m ppl in Kano and they're doing well. There is no limited opportunity in Kano; farming is abundant, trading, industries, fashion, skill work. Multichoice opportunities, bro.

I compare kano to Ekiti, go back and read comment and what led to my respond.
u said average lives of people in Ekiti is better than Kano that's probably why Ekiti is above kano.

If that is what should be used as yardstick for this argument, then I ask, why is Ekiti above Rivers?
The lives of people in Ekiti are not better than that of Rivers so why is Ekiti above Rivers state?

I'm only concerned about this cos I'm from Rivers state

Imagine Ekiti, Osun ahead of Rivers and Kano?

This has been Afonja quack journalism that earned them the infamous Lagos-Ibadam express junk news of the yore years... They are back again with their propaganda way but must be refuted as every eyes are open now
In terms of poverty rate those states are far higher than ekiti and osun

We always tell those Ipob pigs that starting in your 2*2 shops and thinking you are better than others is an illusion. I've always said it that if most of you come to place Ibadan Abeokuta and the likes, you'll be shocked .

Just because Yorubas don't chest beat online doesn't mean we are not better than you in all ramification. Continue to shout your brown roof republic; as long as Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti states are developing and improving, we have nothing to prove to anybody.

Continue to wait, that statistics is damn correct.

Lagos State should be among most miserable state in Nigeria, looking at the debt portfolio, and the state of the state infrastructure. Lagos is dying gradually if left in the hand of tinubu and his slaves.

USA debt is times 20 of Lagos debt, does that make them miserable?

I see why north cannot do without South economically, almost all northern states are miserable. Waiting for handouts from the FG, money gotten as tax from southern prosperous states.

Jealous ? No where in the southwest compares to Rivers State save for Lagos , secondly typical south westerner full of lies and deceit as it's genetic.. 90% of foreign investment since 2018 goes to the north , split between Gombe, Kano and kaduna but as a south westerner you won't know this because you guys don't care about facts just propaganda.

Rivers State gdp is second only to Lagos despite all the efforts of south western media to demarket the state grin

Is better to be surrounded by Almajiri who is waiting to be given the food than for the whole Lagos population to always be on red alert because of the fear of pick pockets, day light robbers, money grabbers, thugs and cults all snatching money and valuables from ppl. We need to stop this assumption from far and face reality.

Stop spewing trash, who says the majority of the foreign investment goes to the North? Where is the statistics? The last time I checked SW still holds the chunk of it

Apart from that, isint it commonsensical that as an investor, you won't invest in a region filled with terrorism and uncertainty? That slightly explains why investors will prefer SW. Maybe the investors you are referring to are local investors i e Hausa/Fulanis investing in their own region aside that, you rarely see a foreign investor going there.

Bro, even the Northern syndrome is deliberately created to distract investors, that's why I want govt to emphasise on opening the sea ports of other regions, provide adequate light which OBJ deliberately killed and gave Lagos alone gas through pipeline to take investors to Lagos & Ogun states only. About hundreds companies have decayed in Kano and thy all run to Lagos because of power shortage. A bank in Jigawa will take his papers to Lagos get thm stamped and be taken back to FIRS and Lagos will end up being the beneficiary of stamp duty charges and this is applied to all states. Bank in other states but their stamp duty is in Lagos.
Bank in Anambra won't buy anything valuable in Anambra but will buy it from Lagos instead just for Lagos to benefit. Banks defy recruitment pattern for employing mostly indigenous and hire some one from Lagos despite all the graduates we've jobless everywhere.
They swindle the President by telling hm that land boarders shld be closed to manage revenue, now they're closed for almost a year, everything only comes through Lagos, they tax every import, them alone & surreptitiously the intention is for the importers to be familiar with port and forget land boarders. Niger Republic, Chad, some part of Cameroun, Central Africa Republic, Mali, Burkina Faso all largely depend on core Northern states' markets. Now the boarder is closed, how do u expect our business to boom, how can we make any revenue?
There are a lot of economic sabotages which very soon people will start official complain for real & ideal restructuring.
Very soon we'll face reality when we all realised that economic sabotage has been done to mock others.
