But one thing i know for sure, is that there is no perfect person - so 'special someone' does not connote a woman that is perfect.

I'll just say this, so i don't gear off course with regards this thread.

For any man, i feel that special lady should to an extent be independent and not overly dependent.

That's the way i see it, it is not fair for a man to shoulder responsibilities alone.

To attract an independent woman, a man has to be independent as well - at least, that is how i see it (hence the idea of self improvement)

Yes I do, infact that's the ultimate reason I broke up with my ex. I was always doing the calling he wasn't reciprocating.
