But when we consider Isaiah 19:4, it seems to me that the Bible has an even more stark position on such things:

4 I will hand the Egyptians over

This is not the only Scripture that sounds like this. Many times, the Lord makes clear that He gives nations the rulers that they deserve either as punishment for them or as a test for them. Protesting then is merely a declaration of rebellion against His Will. So I strongly advise against it.

What seems the better alternative to me is

1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

I don't believe that there are no times when we can respectfully protest against illegal treatment. Paul appealed to Caesar when a Roman governor tried to hand him over to the Jews who wanted to murder him. We might need to do things like that sometimes, but going out on the streets to challenge the authority and will of rulers seems to me to be foolhardy in the extreme given

Now several things to note, notice how the people are so scared of Joshua's people. They are all filled with terror because of the acts committed by Moses and Joshua under God's commands. Now what do Christians have to say about this? Look how their God installed terror into the hearts of everyone, women and children, and these people had no hope of survival! Even if they were kids and women who did not do anything. This is enough evidence of the terror that was going around under God's command. Did God Change from this now?

So Joshua and his army storm a city, they kill everyone as usual accept the harlot and her family. Is this not terror?Did God Change from this now?

Same old story, more massacres, leaving NO SOULS ALIVE. I wonder what Christians have to say to this? They cannot say anything, they believe this happened, and they believe in this God who they claim to be Jesus or His partner.

As for the question! Yes. In as much as we Christians are looking forward to our heavenly home, we're to make our lives on earth look heavenly. If something is wrong with the system, you correct it through legal and non-letal activities. That's how things work.
It's just sad that we Christians get annoyed when our spiritual father's church is been attacked than when our brothers and sisters are being killed. A perfect example was the CAMA bill but only RCCG actually took a long walk to protest against the massive killing in Nigeria
