I do not want to comment as much as I feel so as not to sound tribalistic... But these Northerners know nothing about SARS attrocities. Only a millitary man with strong mind can dare slap a Northerner in the North

Very simple: Go to places like Awkuzu, Ugheli, warri.,, Lagos etc... Round up all those daredevil SARS operatives tht have been a torn in the flesh of the people and cargo them to our restless brothers in katsina. Afterall, one man's food is another's poison... yeye..This new political culture of one group insisting on the continuation of that which other groups hate is starting to gain grounds in Nigeria and this is very disturbing.. That's how some people voted a desert iguana as the president for no other reason other than to rile up others...

Northerners are always anti progress since time memorial, they love backwardness and oppression !

Since it is Kastina and other Northern States that support SARS and those States record high level of banditary and terrorism, The NPF should send those SARS Officers up North.

Their expertise is needed there and moreover the people seem to need them and have extended hand of friendship to them.

Same police that couldn't protect them from bandits? Same police that arrested their leaders & whisked them to Abuja when they were protesting against the insecurity by bandits/terrorists in Kastina? Band of backward thinking humanity.Ndi ala!

These set of Nigerian youths are a different breed. Just because something doesn't affect you doesn't mean it won't get to you someday, they know SARS can't do them anything, but yet they cannot protest against incessant killings affecting their brothers in the north by terrorists.

I'm ashamed of this people, I'm half from the north (paternal side, adamawa) and south south(maternal side,edo) and sometimes I'm inclined to identifying with my maternal side when I see foolishness like these. I swear to God northern Nigeria is the problem of Nigeria. I live and I've lived all my live in the north and I know what I'm saying. Aside the fact that life is very simple and easy plus quite peaceful here, the mentality of the average northerner is sick. Most can't see beyond religion and tribe. Even the educated once(especially from the north west) no get sense. People wey get sense from the north no pass 20

It's the North. No surprises there. Those folks can even protest against having constant electricity in Nigeria. Most are bereft of senses.

But if they want SARS by all means they can have SARS.

But down here #AlutaContinua.

If as a Nigerian youth, you have never been harassed by SARS, there's probably one of the reasons here :

1. You're either from an extremely wealthy home and you have at least a Mopol, bodyguard or Soldier following you everywhere. Which is rarely the case here.

2. You're uneducated and look like a thug. Those SARS officers hardly harass those Agberos and Touts even when they are on dreads, wear crazy jeans and all that because they know those ones would turn it into mob and they won't still see a kobo to collect. They target young educated Nigerians.

3. You're not fresh, good looking and you look poor. How can they harass you when poverty is busy harassing you.? They believe two wrongs don't make a right in this part.

Now ask yourself, how many of the core Northerners doesn't fall into these categories? That's why they want SARS by all means.

There are many young Nigerians who are trying hard to make a better life for themselves legally, some graduated at a young age and were lucky enough to secure a good paying job, some don't have a white collar job but are into freelancing etc but any young person SARS or Nigerian police sees doing good in life is a criminal to them. If you've never been harassed by them you're either very powerful, lucky enough or just extremely miserable.
