@ Clarifier and Others kindly hearted nairalanders on this thread.

I did the EDI Zoom Training for a week starting June 15 this year.I have not collect the Certificate till date because I was faced with lot from caesarion operation for my wife to accomodation challenge and ill health combine.

I am into industrial chemical, I have a special Polyurethane adhesive that i formulate will they approve loan for other enterprise other than agric ?

Kindly help me itemise all the other step I have to take to get this loan

I will appreciate if I can speak with you over the phone too ?

Thanks in anticipation
It was not only meant for agric sector it touches almost every sector even IT. But they do not give priority to petty trading your business was under manufacturing it has an impact to economy and job creation you will be considered. The whole application process has four (4) stages 1. Registration online 2. Training by EDI 3. Interview 4. Approval. Take note your NIRSAL would know those that trained with any approved EDI centers through the cash transfer form you filled given them permission to transfer the training fees to EDI center. You will be requested to come with copy of identity card, training cert, passport and your business plan which you will submit with an AGSMEIS loan application form which will be given to you at the interview spot. After the interview you may be requested to bring an Invoice for the items you listed in your plan. After that stage they hand over your request to CBN for final review and selection of successful applicants. In selecting EDI's make sure they are among the approved ones listed on NIRSAL website because if they were not you will not be considered.

Well... it's real cos I work there and we have given out countless AGSMEIS CBN loans out. If you have a business that needs financial support to expand, I will strongly advise you to take advantage of this scheme. It's a 9%/Year interest rate. No financial institution in this country will give you such.
Is there a way you can help me to confirm if I was invited for the interview since my phone had issues during that period messages were sent to applicants. Thank you.

That one is optional if you can write a good business plan you don't need to buy it. I mentioned that when called for an interview you need to go with it with the other items illustrated.

I'm not sure you need to go with business plan copy if you applied online.

It was a most because I used the online simplified business plan too but still asked to come with a copy to the interview which they collected.

It differs slightly from mine even though they said they will forward it to NIRSAL they didn't. May be it was because we are among the 1st set to use the portal some functions where not ready at that time. Wish you luck

Maybe. Thanks.
How long does it take to get account opened after submission of forms and deposit? How far reaching is the recommendation made after the interview on the approval from CBN or none at all?

Account opening does not take more than a week if all the required forms are correct, sometimes when work is too much they forget to contact you until you became tired of waiting and call them. Mine took 7 months after the interview before approval but some doesn't take that long like my friend he get his own within 2 months after interview.

No... they are not. Only responsibility is to advise and recommend to head Office. Final approval comes from CBN. And Yes! All interviews are forwarded to Head Office.

I just applied about two day ago. I received a notification that I will be called by a training center to training. I hope it's still on going?and advise can u give please?

Please I have some questions. I am a new applicant. I just did mine about two day ago. Firstly, I don't know if the process is still ongoing and the condition it is. From some of the comments here it seems it has entered its "wururu" phase.

However my major concern is my business plan. I don't know what they are looking at in the plan. It's a nice plan and we have done market research. The ROI is quit good. My business is in the manufacturing.

It's a joint business. Before now, I provided fund for a lady who runs it on a small, perhaps micro scale. She is still running it. Recently I acquired some training in it and I Developed a business plan around it. The business plan however is a proposed one and I didn't use anything from the business. Because the reality it neither me nor the lady were doing it full time. But from some of the comments I read from here, it seems they require existing venture and wants ur busines plan to revolve around that. Perhaps I could send you pm if there are other info u could help with

I will advise you to reapply again. Match batch has been concluded long gone. For those who didn't get an invite for interview simply means their application didn't pull through. So go reapply with the same training certificate and Business plan. Next batch of interview will be around November. So if reapply now, there are higher chances of you been called for interview.

pls sir I have done my training ...but I don't know how I'll pay the 5000 naira to CBN...please I need assistance on how I'll pay to CBN...can I pay it through banks?.

It seems they are faster with the entire process now. You can walk into any of the Nirsal MFB closest to you for disbursement into your loan account if you do not have an account already?

By the way when were you trained and interviewed?

Honourable Mentions to @clarifier , you did justice to all the queries.

God bless you.

To those still having doubts please act now.
pls, I just applied on sept, yet to be called for d interview.I don't have any account with NIRSAL yet,how am I to go about it
