Standing behind your dish with 28.2e as your starting point. Turn your dish a few inches to your left. Then slide it down like 4 inches or more. It will pop up.

LNB skew > 3.0 clock

Tracking Frequency 11090 V 30000 or 11050 H 30000

I see what you mean. It has autoroll and BISS, not sure Mecool has that. You may be right then, it looks like you can even install android on Helio 8

Well, you can check up mecool on aliexpress to see if it has those things you are talking about, I suspect it does

I greet you all. Please educate me. BISS and autoroll only applies to accessing paid content for free right? Does it have other properties? Also I would like to know what the multistream functionality in satellite receivers does
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by ojesymsym: 12:06pm On Oct 14, 2020
@Digitizedman and other experts, kindly address this.

ojesymsym:
@Digitizedman and other experts, kindly address this.

Biss and autoroll does not necessarily mean accessing paid content, because some channels that are encrypted under the Basic interoperable scrambling system known as Biss, are sometimes not paid content. But only encrypted by the service provider to be accessible to the public through a customized decoder or keys. On the other hand a decoder having an autoroll functionality has the ability to automatically decrypt and updates a receiver's idea keys when the transmitting signal provider changes its block cipher algorithm. Let me stop there

On the issue of multistream .... Well
As part of the GSE (Generic Stream Encapsulation) protocol adopted in DVB-S2, DVB-C2 and DVB-T2 standards it became possible for service providers to aggregate independent transport streams into one single radiofrequency carrier that is commonly referred to as multistream.

So in other words...
multistream can be define by a layman as
streaming radio
frequency to more than
one infrastructure. Like
Gtv sports plus/ max TV, transmitting both on terrestrial and digital platform>@28.2 degree east .

So as a result of the above came to existence the mutistream functionality in a satellite receive. To enable you have access to view channels transmitting via such a frequency.

No, you can't, because the angle will be too tight to pick the 7e signals.
Research before answering questions!
7e and 4.5e can be attached below 16e.
I normally do 16e primary, 4.5e and 7e below, 26e,28.2e, 33e or 36e above all on one dish.

Please, house, I have 28east as primary and 32 east on top, how can I add MBC channels to the set up, and please kindly add the likely distance in centimetres so as to help the tracking. Thanks
Dish are designed differently, but taking the common type we have, on 60cm dish 28.2e to 42.5 is about 12 to 15cm, on 85cm or 90cm is about 14 to 17cm.
MBC is also on 26e. You can set 26e using 12284 v 27500 then lower the signal a bit to accommodate 28.2e, then attached 33e on top

I tracked 51.5°e with 11050 H 30000= Green
I manually input 11090 V 30000 =Red
I did a blind scan yet no success.
What's the next step pls . Thanks

If your phone is android and compass works on it.. I will advice you to go to play store and download

Satellite director by zekitez.

It will always make it more easier for you to know the exact direction to point your dish. Before you even embark on tracking any satellite whatsoever.

All you need do in the app is just to locate the sat name / degree you want to track. Click on director and it pin points you to where your dish needs to face. That way you don't really have to bother coming here to ask us for directions anymore.

One love
is it effective

If I were to be in your shoes, I will go back to my dish and make sure 11090 V 30000 signal is active ( pop up). If not then I have to address that as the problem. But if the signal on the dish is active/green on my tracker. Then I will know the problem is from my decoder.

So please, use 11090 V 30000 for doing your tracking first . Confirmed you've tracked it, (that exact frequency is showing green on your tracker)

Before going inside the house to scan it on your decoder. Then if your decoder does not see the signal after that. We can then speculate on the decoder being the issue.

Thanks...it was strange though... When I did the blind scan the receiver got TSTV Chanels, but it displayed them as radio frequencies and also played it as such...i'll try again using 11090 V 30000.
