Back from a bet9ja shop after playing bet9ja virtual. I lost 4500 naira I convinced the ss 3 students in the school i work to save with me. I just couldn't stand thinking of my pending debts with no way to settle them. The money I was keeping for them was the only way I could think of solving the pertubing problems I had. I owe the woman that sells close to my school about 7000 naira. My director's remaining debt is 28,500. I was tired of working without pay. I needed a way out. Until a good job or breakthrough comes, I may never change. This is my fate. I am doomed for life. For now, my addiction to bet9ja virtual is stronger than my will to stop it. I was foolish not to have played a bet slip of about 500 and save the rest for the students or for upkeep.

Currently in the midst of lowlives like me in a bet9ja shop, talking about our misfortunes and laughing to our misfortunes. If bet9ja was to give awards to the most miserable youths via their platform, I would be in top 10 on the list. Don't pity me again. Some of us are lost while others are making a way for themselves. Maybe I should stop working and block any means of seeing money till I restore my mental sanity. Hmm. But my mum is at a breaking point. She wouldn't feed me regularly or provide my needs. What other option do I have?

This life I have chosen or which I am addicted to, might take my life sooner than later. I have seen people lose their life's savings, lose their properties, get arrested or lose their life in the process. I am 28 and will clock 29 in January. With the way I am going, only God knows. I already have kidney problems due to too many sugary junk food I patronize any time I am down. I also have partially blurred vision and back pains resulting from chronic masturbation after I lose all I have. I'm scared I am towing the former life again that made me flee benin to warri in order not to be killed by some cult guys for gambling with their leader's phone.

Hmm. Maybe what I need is living under a mentor who can help me reconstruct my life. Or maybe gamblers like me need to be avoided as we could cause more harm to those that show us love.

You seem lazy and dishonest. That's hardly an ideal combination for good fortune.

I wonder why I only feel relaxed after I lose what I have. These days, youths are no longer guaranteed of living long as our forefathers of old. So many exuberances that could lead to our waterloo. There is internet fraud, mistaken identity, stray bullet from sporadic shots, rituals, strange illnesses, impersonation, wrong accusations, temptation to rape, date or sleep with pedophiles, lynching because of public stealing, violence, drug addiction, gambling, abortion etc.

My realistic prayer is to make it to 30 years before something takes my life. I will resume church service again by tomorrow to seek God's intervention

My brother, nothing is wrong with you, myself is owing someone 800k and I lost the money to bet9ja, I would have been dead but is only the grace of God that I'm alive today. Ur own debt is too small sef, just look for a construction site and start a daily job and in no time, ur debt will be a thing of the past.

Be a titan....

Be strong, pray, keep looking for different ways to solve your problems.
Meditate and calm down. Titanically speaking, you have a great goal to achieve.

But one thing is, don't commit suicide.

Anyone that want to give up should do it fast.

But then, remember those you'd hurt if you choose to give up.

@bolded is your problem. When you decide to stop masturbating, your life will start getting a normal restoration. How can you still be masturbating at 29? Are you insane

Masturbation does not have any spiritual impact, but the amount of physical and mental damage it does to a man can not be over emphasised. Stop masturbating and watch as your brain will start functioning properly, all these your betting stupidity will disappear at once and you will start to take your future seriously.

I remember when I was watching this video of musicians who died at age 27 and someone said something about a surge of recklessness and depression in the lives of people in their late 20s, I am staring to wonder if that person was really right.

childofdoom, first change your username to something good.
then locate a site like someone suggests and hustle. I don't know how they pay but it should take you out of debt.
see it as body building

My life achievements were already visible for all to see when I was 29, I feel really bad when I see men wasting their precious lives away.

Not everyone is so fortunate, it worked for you @ 29, thank God and don't make seem like you're perfect.

I was once a chronic gambler like you, from forex to bet9ja. I still owe some money I'm still paying today.

The truth is that only you can tell yourself when to stop gambling, and I tell you for a fact, it's not now. You will become so frustrated that even N100 will seem impossible to afford, then you'll beg and people will not give you. You will be like one with leprosy, no one will want to associate with you. Only then will you tell yourself the truth.

Its never too late, stop gambling.
