SMH!! Op, Shey you know the Law of Attraction is real? Those negative thoughts you prescribe upon yourself will affect you for a long time. Your mindset is all you need to work on and your life will completely change. |

My advice to people like you is that, In a time like this never should you choose salary work as a solution to your problem. Salary will never solve your problem but hard to it unknowingly. Go out there and hustle or Go to one village cultivate a land and plant crops to make better money. |

ChildOfDoom:I reject it in your behalf, you won't die before 30 It seems you need money for something, seek out other legitimate source of wealth, do away with regrets and worrying It's a game, you win and you lose, stop regretting and making yourself extremely remorseful and you did overcome You are not addicted, it's what you make your mind believe, it's what you tell yourself, get hold of yourself and take charge of your thoughts and actions |

I responded to the op with the hope of challenging him to come alive. Message was not for a poverty-loving passerby, you could have passed. Don't quote me to defend failure and poor mentality, a 29-year old is not a kid. You always want to hear words of encouragement, I don't do that man. And I'm not close to been perfect, I never said I was perfect, that's why I keep on striving to do more in every aspect. One major character of you poor people is that you love comfort so much, you always need empathy for your "little failed attempts" in life, instead of beating yourself hard and pushing yourself to do better you start looking for those who will lament with you. Nonsense mentality, when you people see those ahead of you or those who are doing their best to get ahead in life, all you can do is hate and say every negative things about them at any given opportunity, but when you get your chances you keep wasting it. Majority of Nigerians living in that country are poor because they are truly "lazy" and they surround themselves with like-minded individuals, you know the truth but will never accept and face it because of your laziness. skultrick: 2 Likes |

PUNAengineOIL: Well, this is Nigeria, and it's not as rosy as you make it seem. There are many factors that keep lots of youths down in Nigeria. For me, it was harsh and brutal not until two years ago when I found my feet. |

Op... With your illustration, its obvious you don't do anything for living aside gambling. I was once a gambler though I didn't reach ur level.... Here is how I stopped mine -Tell ur self the truth that you want to resign -Avoid going there to charge your phone at all cost -If possible minimize the rate at which u watch football -Finally be prayerful |

MikeMicheal: THIS IS NOT COOL AT ALL! THIS IS HOW PEOPLE AROUND US COMMIT SUICIDE BECAUSE OF HOW WE LOOK LOOK AT THEM AND TALK CRAP ABOUT THEM IN FRONT OF THEM. WHAT A WICKED GENERATION. NOBODY IS USELESS! OP WORK ON YOURSELF AND BE A REAL G. A REAL HOMIE NEVER GETS ADDICTED TO ANYTHING THAT KILLS HIM. U GOT SOMETHING THE WORLD NEEDS. PRAY TO GOD FOR DIRECTION AND THEN ARISE AND RULE THE WORLD. |

pcguru1: Yeah, I gambled for years and it ruined my education, I had to drop out. Still, I didn't give myself sense, I fell so low to the extent even family members didn't respect me anymore, forgetting I was once a breadwinner. I didn't give up, I realized it was time to stop gambling, and yes, I stopped and my life started taking shape, I went back to school, today I earn almost half a million monthly. A friend I met in the hostel in year 1 introduced me to gambling, I cause that day. Sometimes shit happens, not because you wanted it, it just happen. 1 Like |

ChildOfDoom: Your self-pity seems to be drowning you faster than the gambling. Do you think life is hard for you now? Hmm! You never see anything. Take a trip to the nearest general hospital (No one will stop you from entering) and visit the wards there. You will see people that have been lying down for months; people that have not seen outside for over a year; people that can't walk; grown men and women wearing nappies and drinking akamu; people that don't have the hand you take for granted; people that are blind and don't even remember what TV looks like again; people that were abandoned in the hospital, etc. You will even see children (some of whom are even younger than 5) with sever deformity and hopeless complications. Do you know what these people will give to be where you are now? Do you know what they will give to have what you have? You are not suffering. You think you have problems but you don't. You think you are at the point of no return, but you're not there yet. When you get to that point, ehn, your eye will open. The self pity will disappear, and you'll start doing your best to live, but it'll already be too late. 1.) Stop pitying yourself. You have not suffered in this life. 2.) If money enter your hand, you will have an unbearable urge to bet. So use that money to buy something you can't spend but can sell later - like credit. 3.) Crawl back to God and pray. To be continued... 2 Likes 1 Share |
