Protesters in Benin are now on rampage. They broke into the prison and freed criminals. They then took it further by attacking 3 police stations. This is no longer a protest but an assault on law and order. We must collectively demand for an end to the protest immediately.
The prison break was an inside job, none of the inmates were seen escaping through the entrance gate but rather through the fences which is impossible to climb without the assistance of those inside ( the guards and warders).
Edo people just got played, they allowed the protest to get hijacked.

This is getting out of hand, and I must confess, if not curbed, a lot of innocent protesters will be arrested while the hoodlums will be free to walk about

Men of the Rapid Response Squad, Lagos state police command, ran for their lives after some thugs attacked their van along Herbert Macaulay way in Yaba on Monday morning October 19.

I'm at upper sokponba now. The report is true. Regrettably the protest has been hijacked. There is currently a 24 hrs curfew declared. Hoodlums have taken over the streets extorting money from motorist and so on.

I still support the #EndSARS but not this.

something is fishy ,the #endsars protests has been hijacked by thugs posing as protesters and they were planned by some politicians to derail the plans of the real # endsars protesters . was it that the arms and ammunitions were given to the protesters, how were they able to carry them?and also overpowered the police it doesn't really add up

The said attack on the police facility is not the handiwork of the peaceful protesters. I think the government is trying to plan a sharp game on us!!!

SARS is part of Police. Disbanding them reduces the security personnel in Lagos.

This is sad,Benin boys make una calm down. Hoodlums are surely taking advantage of this protest to commit crime and it should be discouraged.Boys are also very angry with anything that have got to do with the police force.

The police station that was burnt at upper sakponba is a notorious ground for business by the police officers, they care less about the welfare and safety of citizens and had rarely helped when in distress.

A friend’s house that is just a stone’s throw from the station was raided by criminals, they had to quickly put a call through to the station and hoped they were going to respond swiftly during to the close proximity, the foolish police officers waited for the robbbers to round up their operations and strolled in and started demanding for 5k for fuel from same people that were robbed.

That’s why they are mostly at the receiving end of this protest.they have Turned Edo state to a business center.

Government of the day are doing all sorts of things to clamp down this peaceful and genuine protest cause they can't fulfill the demands of the protests.

Shame, shame, shame, to our leaders for trying to use us against us.
I stay at upper sokponba, the report is true. Call anybody you know staying around those premises in the report to verify if its true or not. The protest has been hijacked. I suspect the handwork of politicians.

Have you noticed that anywhere there are violent gangs protesting the police aren't there or if present do nothing but are always standing by to beat peaceful protests.

The protest doesn't stop police from doing their duties to protect everyone, property and law.

It's either they are part of the thugs or are leaving them to make things degenerate for the excuse to come out and forcefully end the protest.

Nigerians "Soro Soke Warey" let's change our future.
