$2.33 used to be the amount of Qa for calls like CHL and up to $2.44 for FC calls for 10 minutes. We were so in love working. If GT is still maintaining their rates during this pandemic and now that everything is getting better then I really don't know who's making decisions for Qa. They know lots of people are depending on online jobs due to the pandemic and they've decided to utilize that opportunity by making updates and putting humanity aside [except themselves]... One thing I kept asking myself is that can't they make this updates and not touch the pay? Well, we should be greatful that God is not a man. Lol..
Well, that's what it has come to.

Easy task with poor pay or a difficult task with fairly good pay, which is better? I'd go for easy task with poor pay. That's me.

That's like resigning to the lower leagues. You up your game, not sit in your comfort zone.

Both are bad. Why wouldn't those with fairly good pay improve their audio quality? They want to suffer transcribers. Isn't it?

They're not always in the situation to get a good recording. You must always remember that nothing good comes easy. Do you think anyone will pay you $7 for 10 minute audio that a machine could as well have done? Of course not. Editors on GT who can handle red files are the highest earning editors, it's probably the same with transcriber's too.

Y'all can try Freelance or Fiverr. Chat operator too dey but I'm not sure I understand their requirements. Besides, our location is a disadvantage as most of the good companies will tell you they are not accepting applications from Nigeria.

I logged in yesterday at night to check how Qa is going, only to see that most calls are $0.05 per min. Are you kidding me? That's $5 for 100mins. I hope there are enough calls for people who still work on the platform.
