Good morning, more life for everyone contributing actively in this forum. I come with a problem I hope to find solutions too inside here. My problems are these - I'm a Bsc holder in the social sciences and I had a 2.2 qualification. How attainable is it that I can apply for Msc in Canada with it ? If possible , which low tuition schools can I apply to and which schools don't need Ielts English test ? |

Finally PPR DROPPED! (Long post alert!) The whole process has been very overwhelming. My family and I have been at it since 2016, 2 visiting visas refused(2016 $ 2018) previous Study permit refused(2019) in between I had 3 yankee Visa refusals(2018 & 2019) despite being a frequent visitor. In January 2020., my husband got his Canadian visit visa(5year validity) after his 4th Application and guess what, his application took 12 working days. I attempted PR, wrote iElts once in 2018 ( R: 9 L: 8, S: 7.5,W: 6) but Age(currently 38 yrs) and 2nd degree were factors that didn’t work in my favor. I applied for GCMS and it came with a refusal note summary that was entered in ERROR! (check old post) Please allow me to Thank God o! ( Ejo, if you don’t believe in God just allow me thank him Biko) don’t use my post to start a religious argument. Nagode! Timeline Application: 19/6/20 Medical request 21/07/20 Medical passed 29/07/20 AIP 18/08/20 BVL 21/10/20 PPR 22/10/20 I already started classes online for Fall 2020 Document submitted -All 3 I ME form required -SOP - Statement of account(3, 2 for me and 1 for my husband as the sponsor) -Letters from the bank for statement of account submitted - Affidavit of support - Affidavit of return -My Birth Certificate -Wedding Certificate -wedding pictures and family pictures (a total of 6) -Children’s birth Certificate( They are US citizens) - Letter of sponsorship -WAEC Certificate - Degree Certificate -University Transcript - Nysc Certificate -LOA -Tuition receipts (I had paid my tuition for the 1st year 17, 850 CAD) -police clearance certificate - Certificates of incorporation( for my company and my husbands company - Tax documents -picture evidence of my job(I’m an venue stylist) -receipts of job done - Letter of support and Affidavit from my mum( stating she would be taking care of the children while I’m away) -My mums retirement letter - Properties and land documents with valuation report( 5, three owned by my husband, 2 co owned by both of Us) - My change of name documents( I still bear my maiden name) - visa pages of all visa of different countries I had on my passport -International Passport Data page -passport Photograph -Businesses ID -Letter from my staff indicating that she will be handling my business while I’m a way(with my husbands supervisions) -financial report for my husband company for the past 3 year -A financial report on his personal account explaining how he makes money and how he intends to pay for my tuition and living expense for my second year of study. Hmmm submitted a lot of documents! Advice Trust in God(yes I said it!) Never give up, A refusal is not a permanent denial, we didn’t have as much funds as we had when I submitted my first study permit application, my husband and I had submitted our domiciliary($) then but for this application, we did not have enough money in the accounts so we left it out. I had a 12 years study gap which I explained in details in my SOP My Application approval still feels like dream. Thank you @Frankorrbn1, you advised me after my first Study permit refusal last year Thank you @justmellow, @naijaforeigner and to all who contribute positively to this forum To all the TRV hopefuls, I wish you guys Success in your applications. |

With a 2.2 you should be going for a Post Graduate Certificate/ Post Graduate Diploma. Most schools in Canada does not require IELTS for Nigerians seeking study permit Check out College of North Atlantic Newfoundland gustav25: |

BlegendE: BlegendE:The Accra VAC has responded with the list of documents needed for the process. It's completely at your discretion to go ahead or wait until the VAC in Nigeria reopens. I have said it earlier on this thread, I know three (3) persons who used his route to submit their passports and have gotten it stamped and returned back to them. Thus I decided to share the information with you guys. All the best. It will end in praise |

Tee1583:If your business is legally registered with CAC and functional in Nigeria. Your best bet would be to opt for a business management program rather than chemical engineering. This is because you've been in the business field for more than 5 years and still counting. It will be rational in the sight of the VO if you present your case as an entrepreneur. By so doing, include relevant documents like transactions receipts, screenshots of your business online presence, SOA of the business etc. that would solidify your immigration case. You may also apply to University Canada West for her MBA considering you've vast experience in business. It will end in praise. |

Olayinkaji:Changing programs to another in an effort to address the concerns of the visa officer in no way affect the credence of your application. Given that the Project Management is reasonable in light with your current employment, it further demonstrate a career progression for you. I would advice you explain in detail why this program is a good fit for you at this point in your career and its practicable benefits to your future career prospects in Nigeria. It will end in praise |

Ifeomaanita2:Hi Ifeoma, I discovered that, - This Personal Support Worker program is a 31 weeks Certificate program (not a DIPLOMA), - The school is a DLI but the skool (Evergreen College) u are going for does not offer PGWP (Post Graduate Work Permit) which would not be beneficial to you if you decide to stay in Canada after your studies, Your Study Visa Chances might likely be very slim if u follow this path most esp. If u wanna stay in Canada after studies In your best interest, As suggested by JustMellow. Check for PGD/PG. Cert in Leadership, Management, Business, Linguistic, Gender studies programs
