Dear police, you have absolutely no blame in this mess.

It's the PEACEFUL PROTESTERS that defied government orders, empowered looters and even went online to spread propaganda. They're the ones responsibile for all this mess.

From runtown to DJ switch, they should all be charged to court for disturbing public peace and inciting anarchy.

I just discovered this rare video of the true story behind the Lekki shooting. It's 100% propaganda.

There were no gunshot injuries. In fact all the people who were carried had no blood stain on them. They probably fainted die to fatigue from over standing or over shouting.

Yet these wicked liars want to set the nation ablaze for their selfish gains. Only God can pay them for their sinister acts.

You are writing a rubbish/ a nonsense . In a country where every citizen has a right to protest? . And seems you didn’t watch the live instargram video which was done when the shootings were going on and when they removed bullets from some persons/ others who were on the floor . I watched the live Instagram which DJ switch did that day and know what I saw . Some of you will just come here and write jargons

One thing I want Nigerians to understand, if police stop taking bribe , bet me more than 50% of Nigerians will be in prison,,, similarly to lecturers , if lecturers stop receiving sorting I bet you, so many students will not graduate from University,,, we Nigerians r not sincere to ourselves,,, when ur broda or sister is involved in crime, you use all possible means to beg police with money to escape justice,,, what I know is dat , no Nigerian can boldly ask police to charge their loved ones to court known d fact that the person actually commit d said offence ,,, some police officers have died in the hands of criminals while trying to rescue others ,,,, even if we have some bad eggs in police, killing dem and children randomly in the name of protest is bad

Looks like these idiots have never heard of rubber bullets and tear gas. Why must they always use live ammunition all the time? Policing is not all about shooting AK47 every time. You can break up protest without shooting people with live bullets.

Keep quite there. Have you even made up your mind to stop collecting bribe? You guys deserve the hate. Even when innocent Nigerian see a policeman on uniform his heart skips, because if they lack money they'll just arrest you and brand you a criminal and lock you up until you pay bribe. I know there is a pay day for every wicked soul.

You abandoned the people you were supposed to protect a long time ago...now you are playing reverse psychology. You better face your employers.

No one forced you to become a police man. If you cannot carry out your duty honourably and with the fear of God, oga resign. You talk about your family, the ones you guys are shooting like grass cutters, don't they have families too? Abeg shift

You're the ones who should be quiet.

Was the endsars protest an agitation for police corruption?

Now that the police could not effectively police the lootings by hoodlums because of the directive from above not to shoot, don't you see how their absence breeds anarchy and lawlessness

Which would you rather prefer: A society where the police is very brutal to offenders or a society where everyone polices their own affairs? You guys are so dumb, honestly.

90% of policemen are evil. It's a pity the remaining 10% is sharing in the hate.

I don't agree. The police are not a special breed of devils. They are recruited from Nigerian society. If you say 90% of policemen are evil then 90% of Nigerians are evil too.

We should be careful demonizing the police. Let us see this period as a time to build bridges and ask for thorough reform of the police force with very special attention paid to their welfare, salary, remuneration and training.

I think there is something evil about paying lawmakers millions a month while the average police officer receives 60k monthly.

The real laggardly and worthless arm of Government that protestors should lay 3 months siege on is the legislative arm. They are the main criminal arm of governance we could do away with and not miss at all yet their total pay package is costing Nigeria a fortune.

But why is it that police own is hated with passion?

Go to immigration and see corruption. I obtained international passport few days ago, I saw corruption, heavy ones. Go to FRSCN and see corruption. How about custom? Extreme corruption. The list goes on!

The only reason that of police is well pronounced is that they interact with more Nigerians daily than most of these agencies. Nigeria is inside corruption. Too much!

At least those other agencies you mentioned won't force u at gunpoint to part with your money at the ATM or even shoot you dead. Thats the difference.

Una never see anything! more brutality on the police is still on the way.....that is what you get after years of maiming, killing and unjust framing of innocent people just because you are on uniform and carrying gun. those you framed up and brutalized unjustly now had the chance to pay you back on your own coin while the families of those you killed and felt that you are above the law just because you are a cop would never allow your relatives to live in peace....i strongly support these brutality on the police!

Majority of police are the real and deserve what is being melted on them. Who cares about men in black in Nigeria.

Well, let me reserve my comment.
Re: EndSARS Protest: We Feel Abandoned – Police Officers by MalaikaEH(f): 5:49pm On Oct 25, 2020
I really empathize with the rank and file of the police.

There was a problem of crowd gathering in most cities. A problem that could easily go out of hand and out of control. All our president, vice president, governors, senate, rep members and even the Inspector general of police could say was warn the rank and file of the police not to disrupt the "peaceful protests". It's demoralising. If I were a police man, I will feel dejected too. Well, we have all seen the end result.

Nobody should get my message wrongly. I have also suffered in the hands of overzealous SARS in the past. But we can't throw the baby away with the bath water. The good ones among them are very useful. I can't forget a particular night armed robbers besieged our street. It was the police that saved us that night. They are important in the society.

Despite all the protests in USA, President Trump never criticized any police officer, even till today and they don't mind giving their lives for him. That is a good example of how a leader should behave towards his foot soldiers during the time of crises. After the crises, you catch the erring ones and discipline them. Giving them a blanket warning at that time will only demoralize them.

There are too many uneducated, unexposed, crass, greedy, policemen in nigeria. A lot of people join police in nigeria when they are unable to find a job.

From the way they speak, the mind of dirty, annoying, archaic mentality they have, you'll know they aren't supposed to be in that profession. They foolishly forget that they are not spirits and live amongst the people. The fact that you have a gun and wear uniform doesn't give you any right to oppress and steal from people who you should protect. Some of the have turned themselves into demi gods. They can arrest a lady for not greeting them or refusing their advances. You see them seizing people's bikes, napep, goods ,cars illegally and giving stupid conditions. They forget that the masses in the community always take note of the wicked and oppressive police man and are waiting for the opportunity to take him down. Everything for life na common sense. Be good to people and they'll be good to you in return. We some places where the masses protected police stations because the policemen were of good behaviour.
Like someone said in the post, if they are not happy with their salary, they either resign and look for another job or stand together to go on strike and fight for a better pay. If the NP should agree together to go on strike and withdraw all police escorts from politicians and VIP for just 1 hr, I swear the govt will give them what they want sharply. Imagine Senate president , dangote, otedola, adenuga, gbajabiamila and other ministers without any security, lol, dem go piss for body.

Most of them with the guns do that bro. Those custom guys with guns do worse. The major difference is that the police interact more with more Nigerians on daily bases than these other agencies. Also, there are classes of people who interact with these other agencies unlike the police where all classes interact with them.

For instance, our universities are rotten in corruption! The list goes on!

That's the result when a society elevate yahoo boys and Cultists above his security agency.

How can a sane government and her citizens support the dissolution of SARS. That's the simple reason they have the gut to misbehave.

Criminals!
we are coming back on those primary Yahoo criminals but let deal with those secondary criminals call SARS first .one by one we will win the battle .the reason Yahoos is flourishing in our societies is lack of orientation and lack of education in our society which will later be an history when we start campaign against Yahoo and Thugry in our societies but this will not take us stress and legality to win bcs the campaign will only be to expose and condemn Yahoo and Thugry in our society with the help of these to say reformed police force.

That they are paid peanuts doesn't automatically give them the right to harass citizens. Several people earn less than the police and they don't go about killing people. Some teachers earn 15k or less but do not start teaching their students the wrong things
