I am sorry, your degree does not align with your job.
To assess for Marketing Manager, your course of study should align with your roles and responsibilities and you must be in a managerial role with other subordinate managers.

Your wife's degree is not from a Tier 1 university and she also does not have any work experience.

I am afraid you may have to try other countries.

You can dm me so you can be added to grant group.

To answer you, you have the ball in your court, do your research and start applying for jobs offshore.

Your spouse degree cannot assess for Tier 1 occupation as her degree duration was for 4 years.

Hello Bosses in the house, please I just got my English results and thankfully I passed, I wanted to ask if the Aussie migration route is still feasible? I will like to apply for 491 as a Civil Engineering draftperson, I have 5 years verifiable experience.
I spoke with an aunt in NZ last sunday and she sounded so discouraging that Aussie is at the moment not processing any long stay Visa till maybe 2022, I don't know how true it is so I bought it to the house as a lot of people here are already in the system.

Please at the moment is processing an Aussie 491/190 visa a waste of time? Or its safe to forge ahead? Thank you.

Pls is there any whatsapp group for starters like me that would be helpful?

All marketing occupations are level 1 which means your degree from Lasu cannot assess them. Now that you have an MBA, all your 8 years experience will not be approved so you are gonna lose experience point.
In addition, Vetassess requires at least 1 year experience for assessment which you do not have as your recent degree is 2020.

Your spouse is also in an occupation not being nominated for candidates offshore.
My advice, check the occupation list to see if there is any occupation you can nominate.

If your spouse can also get an internal redeployment or keep applying to big fours in Australia, she may be lucky.

Thank you so much for the reply.

Just to be clear when you say i will have a better chance do u mean i will have leave my hubby behind and secure mine first? I really dont want to go to a foreign land alone.

Here is my occupation from STSOL list : 251312 - Occupational Health and Safety Adviser and
132311 - Human Resource Manager.
Assessing Authority for both - VETASSESS.

Thank you.

No, I meant you have a better chance of getting a positive assessment and being the PA than your spouse.
Now you have two options, did your spouse also check for his occupation?
Human resource manager is not assessed by Vetassess, it's IML. You can check again.
With HRM, you must be a full manager reporting to the Managing director.
Have you checked other HR roles? 223111, 223112, 223113

For 251312, visit Vetassess website to read the fact sheet for the occupation if it's applicable and read thru their assessment process. It's simple and straightforward.
If you have any query, you can always ask here.

Hello All,

I would like your opinion on my situation.

I hold a degree that's not closely related to the job I do. I'd like to assess for environmental manager with my BSc Environmental Protection and Resource Management but I have been working as computer operator in a federal University.

Kindly advise
Computer operator cannot fly as such occupation is not on the list and also you don't have the right qualification

To assess for that occupation, you need to be a senior manager reporting directly to the MD.
Assessing as a manager here requires at least over 6 years experience at the managerial level

I won't say your aunt is not giving accurate information but Aussie is still processing migration even though it's at a slow pace due to the Covid19 pandemic but in this week, there has been surge in visa grants.

Congratulations on your English result. I hope it's 20 points

Hi Tunlex01, thank you for all you do.

Please the bolded caught my attention, I am/will be studying Msc Engineering Management in Aussie as soon as the boarder opens up and the bolded caught my attention.

Please hope I'll be able to assess for my PR as an Engineering manager without facing the 6yrs experience ish?

I am a fresh graduate and I barely have working experience here in Nigeria.

Whether you are onshore or offshore is still the same process, just that she will get extra 5points for one or more Australian degree, extra 5points if she study in a regional area and 2 to 3years of post study work visa depending on her program (research or coursework) and location. Some states may as well sponsor her if she's eligible for sponsorship.
