There are uninformed youths there that convinced themselves to kill military men. I suspect the military is making that area a deterrent to anybody that might want to do it again in the country.

I hope peace returns.

If some idiotic IPOB members goes around killing Hausas and soldiers/police, then why should every random IPOB or Igbo be guilty of murder? And this is to all those idiots who are siding with the military:

since you are okay with guilt by association, PLEASE and PLEASE, when it happens to you, I don't ever want to see you open a thread here and complain. If you do, I will lay an everlasting curse on you.

Not only wike but southern governors from anambra to enugu, abia, rivers, bayelsa, akwa ibom , benue etc. It's either they invite soldiers to kill their people or soldiers kill their people on their own invitation with the governor looking the other way. But you can never see a nothern gov call army to kill his people neither will Nigeria army ever retaliate the killing of its soldiers in the north.

Yet u see southerns rejoice at their folly. Remember victor malu who defended the odi massacre only to cry over the zaki biam massacre. Tomorrow if army invades wike community, you will see wike crying foul.

Southerners for you

LEAVE THE BASTARDS...OUR COUNTRY MUST BE BETTER

True, even most of the guys paraded as looters are no the main looters.

Most of them are just late comers that arrived at the scene after the real looters have taken everything.

??.

Nnamdi Kanu ordered his followers to burn down places n they did as he ordered n he claimed he was responsible for it.

The governor realised ipob was making d state ungovernable for him n he proscribed them terrorist n declared their leader wanted by placing a 50 million naira bounty on him

Nnamdi Kanu d joker who took responsibility for ordering d damage placed a 100 million naira bounty on a sitting governor, who does that?

Wike is trying to show him that madness pass madness, Nnamdi Kanu even adviced his followers to sleep in d bush to evade arrest while he himself is sleeping in a safe haven in UK.

It's only a pity that innocent people would also b caught in this web,so I believe at this stage Igbos are gradually seeing d handwriting on d wall.

This man said he's ready to sacrifice 5 million people for his ambition n he's gradually doing it by staying safe

have u ever heard of any member of Nnamdi Kanu family killed for d struggle?

is he affected now?
if they kill 5 million like he said,he won't still b affected

I am a lover of freedom but Nnamdi Kanu style can never bring freedom for igbos

Today you're happy they are killing ipob and nnamdi kanu and you're happy and would look for ways to Justify it. Tomorrow it would be your turn. That's how all of you supported killing of unarmed protesters in the east and didn't know it would happen in lekki someday. Keep supporting evil. The doers will get used to it and continue until it gets to your turn. One day the soldiers will be killing your family and you'd be looking for who would protest against it and you won't see anybody. Continue

What is really happening in obigbo? Why is the report of people on the ground different from what the media is reporting? The people in oyigbo are saying herdsmen were going house to house killing and raping.

He is not a Journalist. He is the circulation driver for Guardian. However, this has nothing to do with Wike.

I've just gotten off the phone with "Oga Hamed" as we call him. So sad about what happened to him.

We need a huge total reform for all our security + force outfits .....to achieve this isn't rocket science! Just let them see their job as a SERVICE for humanity and reward them appropriately !!

This will not also solve the problem. To put a final stamp on the EndSARS campaign, I think we need to legalize guns in Nigeria like USA did. People with a job that requires them to move around more often or that live in remote places should be given a license to carry some types of gun for protection, this can be a revolver or pump action riffle. This will enable them to protect themselves against bandits because they are the people most vulnerable to such attacks. Police or military will think twice before they harrass you on the road if they know that you have a backup to defend yourself with.

You can't legalize guns when you are yet to have a database with the actual census of citizens !

Yes, people will be given such gun licence will have a traceable data like bvn or social security number or national ID

With which Database? The present one or a new one ?
I'm done trying to show you the futility in your suggestion.....In Nigeria your suggestion will increase the problem rather than solve it .

It is what it is !!

Yes, people who will be given such gun licence will have a traceable data like bvn or international passport or drivers licence or national ID. So you think government doesn't have your data already, through sim registration and voters registration, they collect very valuable data. I cannot count the number of times that someone will just call me during elections to campaign for a particular politician, where did they get my number and name from?

The guardian gave us an indication of wat is taking place there. i.e Torture, Rape and Murder.
When we said on this here app that no one is spared in oyigbo, people were jubilating thinking it's only ibos that are suffering it...I guess ahmadu is from abia state....
Reports as at this evening is that they coerced some boys into leading them to houses of suspected "IPOB" and shooting at people pointed out by the boys...
You can also see that police is not spared by them
