2006 is first year. Go for later years cos a lot would have been addressed after first year. XI also means all wheel drive whose suspension parts are more expensive than the non XI models

E36 with feel of classic. it's a 318tds. It turns head. My first BMW. I still own it.

very true. When my bmw arrived, it was low on power steering fluid. I asked around for the type of fluid to use. Everyone said dexron. However, car manual warned never to use dexron. But recommended a particular type of fluid. Bmw users also told me to get ready for power steering rack issues. I went to ladipo and insisted for the recommended fluid. Lo and behold, it was available. Dexron was 2500. Recommended was 5500. This is more than 1yr after topping off. No issues. No leakage. Maintenance with right part is key.
what is the recomended ps fluid? i just got a bimmer.

Timeless design....and for me, the interior (and exterior) still beats the e36. I owned the coupe once until one indian man paid me a price I could not refuse
You are a man of culture cool

Advice: don't buy a naija used BMW, your budget can only get you that.

Yes it will work. Take out your fuel pump assembly. Identify BMW fuel pump. Remove BMW fuel pump. Connect Toyota pump (if the connection does not match, cut am join wink ) , test you got the polarity right. Reinstall your hybrid pump assembly.

Also check (and replace) your secondary fuel filter

Please disregard the advice of replacing your faulty fuel pump with that of a Toyota brand.

BMW fuel pumps are readily available at Gudu and Apo spare parts market. Visit the markets to make your enquiries.

Cheers
