Same way other tribes cannot contest in the East, don't be an hypocrite. Besides, we still have Igbos in elected positions
Who stopped you from contesting. Is this your idea of taqiyya? Why are you lying?

Nigerians are hypocrites.

They will be fast to celebrate someone who is allowed to contest for an elective position in another person's country

Try it in their state and they will quickly remind you that you are not from the state.

No country riddled with hypocrites moves forward

These are Americans, not Nigerians.
They are of Nigerian origin, but not necessarily Nigerian.
You don't know what you are typing.

They are all Nigerians. They are Nigerian-Americans.

Read the original post very well, Nigeria is the place of birth for about 6 of them.

I would have been surprised if I found Hausa or Fulani in the list, well done to those from the southern Nigeria

You see how people are here saying Yoruba amaka.

If Igbos dare contest elections in Lagos state now, they'll be told to go back to their states and Oba will threaten the whole tribe's existence.

Let's keep deceiving ourselves with one Nigeria.
can a yoruba man dare contest election in the southeast... Same as North. It happens in all regions in Nigeria, the whole ethnical thing

Same way a Yoruba man is the governor or Abia and Anambra.
Always creating tribal hate where there's none.

We can go to another country and contest for elective positions but here in Nigeria, even as immigrants but here in Nigeria, even your parents were born in a particular location, you yourself born and had lived all your life in this geographical location, they will still tell you to go your state of origin

Nigeria is the Hypocrite capital of the world.
Even when you have maternal relations with a particular state or region since your father is not from that same region, they will treat you as alien.
These same people with there barbaric mentality will give birth in U.S and the child will become a citizen not because his/her parents are from there but just because he/she was born there.
What a country

Imagine we have these versatile able men in house Assembly. How I wished we make our country condusive enough to make our who is who in disporas and our cerebrals in the country to work together and catapult this country to greatest.

Many of us love this country but u fortunately the country just refused to move forward

It shows that you have myopic view of humanity. A person coming from a poor system would do everything possible surpass the present system he founds himself.

Many of the best brains in US were.migrants.

one thing to observe is that all of them have educational qualification up to a doctorate degree.

there is no they did get into office and not do well because they re widely read.

unlike here, where Someone who has only NEPA certificate and refused coming out for debate was ended up being voted into office

Where did you live in the east?

Cos I know for a lot of wealthy Yoruba men in Enugu and Anambra who even married Igbo women and own houses and businesses in Enugu.

We all know the average Hausa man will never build a house outside their hometown.

So I ask again, where did you live in the east?
We are not talking about owing businesses or houses we are talking about being allowed to contest for any position. To your question I lived in the East for 23years..7years was in Imo State..make we start. Take note I am a Yoruba man.

Sometimes we should be ashamed of ourselves we are amakanized this news .

Is this the ways we should be rejoicing, see their achievement, PhD in this and that contesting in other country and here that is affecting me and u our representatives have to forge their O-level certificate and those that don't we see their grades with full of Fs. They are the ones piloting the affairs of the country that have direct and indirect effect on us, but instead of us to be crying even if it going to be fake like that Kogi commissioner we are amakanizing ...

If it were to be in Nigeria, they would've brought one dead brain in the name of "it is our turn to rule". In a natural contest, you won't see their names in this type of feat without mago mago.
