MOE is opened for business fully....it's online now self, you can start the process online at the comfort of your home before going to their office....

As for MOFA, they are yet to resume officially, but you can still do it if you know your way, though at unofficial price.

Please, do we count the copies as part of the documents to be paid for?

From those of you who have had your authentication and legalisation done at both the MOE and MOFA, please did you pay an additional #300 for each copy you authenticated and legalised?

I am asking because I am confused about how much to pay on the MOE site.

Is the #300 for the original certificate plus the 3 copies?

Or will it be #300 * original certificate * 3 copies?

And will they return the authenticated and legalised copies back to me?

If I need additional copies to be authenticated and legalised, can I have this?

MOE won't charge for the photocopies only the original documents.
MOFA will charge for both original and photocopy as well..

I think they are asking of your SSS1-SSS3 subjects taken and their subsequent grades. You know the way normal transcripts are now. You should be able to get it in your secondary school.

Thanks for the insight provided here, i read through pages 12-13 as you advised for clarity.

Im in Lagos but i need to get my docs authenticated in Abuja for visa purposes. An agent offered to help me do it in Abj , see below;

- Marriage Cert attestation -2k for MOFA and 22k for UAE embassy
- Degrees (WAEC & BSC) - 38K fee for MOE & MOFA and an additional 22k per certificate at the UAE embassy

While the above pricing is v expensive, pls do you know agents with better pricing. Also, what is the cost in the UAE embassy for viewing & authenticating docs.

Since the MOE don't authenticate statement of result, what about transcripts? Because I went to my school before this coronavirus pandemic and I was told my original result is not yet ready.

Yes, very well...Just go there early in the morning...You can start the application online at the comfort of your house, pay, upload the documents you want to attest and print them out, but if you don't have access to all these at home, just go to the business center at the Premises of the Ministry of Education, it will be done for you at a fee, then you proceed to get it authenticated. So it's much more possible you get it in a day.
