Jesus was born in the flesh as a human, and he is sinless. There's no need of Jesus coming if Adam had lived a sinless life. Since Jesus live both in flesh and spirit he became everlasting father for those who will continue to live in the flesh as well as those who will live as spirits.
He did what Adam supposed to do which is give wise counsel to all his children, that's what made him a Wonderful Counselor {Isaiah 9:6} So Jesus lived as a sinless descendant of Adam (human) {Luke 3:23,38} hence he qualified to write off our sins with his blood! Psalms 49:7-9
