I know this topic would rile some people up.

One has to admit that what anambra has achieved hust in years is unprecedented.

Hedging on the messed up war..anambra seems to bounce back with a force that cannot be reckoned with.

Following its financial and private investment stride..the state seems to be catching up with the former capital of Nigeria, Lagos

Anambra has maintained the top 10 position in finance, education, infrastructure and private investment.

Lagos on the other hand has been on a steady decline over the years which has somewhat heartbreaking

Some few pix of anambra .

Modified:

Ok, I dunno how some unscrupulous characters got the notion that this thread was taking a swipe at the yorubas.

Such insipid vitriol is a bush league move by some delinquents

This seed of disconcertion is eating deep into the psyche of some folks.

Full disclosure: this here is a healthy competition between states in Nigeria and has nothing to do with tribe.

Lagos being:

Former capital for 100 years.

Enjoying collective investment

Enjoying federal infrastructural largesse

Hasn’t been in a war

While her counterpart, anambra has:

Been totally destroyed in a war.

Was never a capital.

Enjoys only indigenous investments.

No federal assistance whatsoever...

These 2 locations are in loggerheads in terms of:

Education.

Financial sustainability.

Investements and growth

This thread isn’t a tribalistic banter page..

Although Lagos State is still shabby ( Mushin, Bariga, dopemu, Ajegunle, Ketu, Agiliti etc), no state in Nigeria comes close...

Anambra is in the league of Rivers for now

And Lagos State last sensible governor was Ambode. This one there is a clown.... When Lagos gets another technocrat governor, you'd see what it is...

Op this is an insult to Lagos. You can celebrate your Anambla without trying to drag Lagos down. What is with you igbos and your pull it down mentality. If una no like Lagos relocate abeg.

Igbos should stop this hatred for Lagos. If you people hate Lagos so much, then relocate to Anambra. Lagos is not in competition with Anambra. Una no reach.

The only difference between Anambra and Lagos is Apapa, Victoria island and ikoyi Aside that there is no other advantage.

If anambra is able to replicate a business capital like Victoria island or Ikoyi than it is game over

You are a hypocrite. What the fvck is you people's problem by the way?? One minute you will claim Anambra has more highrise buildings than anywhere else in Nigeria, and use that as a yardstick of its development. In the next minute you are saying it isn't justifiable. Guy, your inferiority complex no be here.

You igbos, particularly those of you from Anambra, should check yourselves. Your hubris will keep dragging you back in life. I repeat, Lagos no be una mate. If una dey develop, that's fine and well, but keep Lagos out of your mouth coz una no reach. Stay on your local lane and develop at your pace without running down Lagos.

Bros you are minding these envious Villagers and insecure d1ck comparison agents?

What does Anambra have to match Magodo, Ikeja GRA, Ogudu GRA etal before we even talk of the likes of Eko Atlantic, Ikoyi Illubirin, Banana, Island, Lekki, Oniru, VI etal? I really dont get the type of inferiority complex bugging Igbos.

If you ibos hate Lagos so much as you can't help showing and feel Anambra is better, that's fine, just kindly relocate back to Omanbala and stop hating on Lagos. Your bad belle and hatred won't stop Lagos from soaring. Just keep that in mind.

Their joy and wish is to see Lagos decline while they develop. They can't bear to succeed while others also do same. They are jokers.
