Yes, it can and it will but best believe that they'll spoil the result. Passing results with held is luck.

Well then you should be celebrating. 'Outstanding' is a good thing. The only thing better than that is 'Perfect'. Lol

It will be released, but expect a subject or two to be cancelled. I'm talking from experience.

My neighbor's son WAEC result is showing held throughout, what does it mean and is there still hope of release, If there is hope, how soon bcoz NECO is close by

don't put hope on that result,he should prepare for neco,mine was held and when it was later released my physics and agric was cancelled

sorry for the late reply was busy anyway i was looking for admission last year,my waec was held around August last year,so I could not use it for my admission process,but it was later released around November of last year,but my physics and agric was cancelled,but the results of the art and social science students was ok,nothing was cancelled,my luck was that I wrote waec the previous year,so I just combined the physics,and that how I gained admission

You see held waec results works like this,they gonna release it,but and organization called NEC(Nigeria examination commission) gonna hold a meeting first,and investigate your papers,the meeting is usually 3 to 4 months after the waec result comes out,so I think your result will be released around February or March,in the meeting they gonna do the following things
1-They will exonerate all papers of the schools that not guilty of the malpractice that they investigating(Tips malpractice is usually the reasonwhy waec results are held)
2-They will cancel the subjects and papers suspected of indulging in malpractice


So chill bro,just be patient your result will be out,am speaking from experience,you have to be emotionally strong this period.
