ooo am sorry all,

i know this is so very lover overdue,

but better late than never i guess.....

so yeah this is the shy boi experience.....

i type alott so il be breaking this into 3 sections....
i cant name the sections now il just type as the spirit leads..

okay first day.
going to camp and realizing people actually came a day before.. hmmmmm, guess they are the extra serious beings.

getting to the gate with my over tighly packed bag, (thank you mum), i stay in lagos so getting to camp wasnt stressful my dads driver dropped me off, in the car i was super pumped mehnnn am going to Bleep shit up, this shyness go die for inside camp, i go collect number, i go kiss, i go scope, i go run shii... as we were getting to the camp like this gbammm the thing just hit me like this that am not prepared at all, all the ginger i had inside me just dropped.. finding where to park was hard as the croud was massive.. as i got down, the sellers around rushed me the woman just dropped idcard holder and her laundry card inside my bucket and looked at me and said abeg just buy am from me its 200.. i paid and she told me if i want anything food, laundry that i should call the number there, i said okay. i walked in, showed them my posting letter the search was crazy man she how disorganized i was.. the just scattered my bag anyhow they took my small mirror too.. dey dont even put the shit back they just move it over and u have to pack everything ur own.. the walk from the gate to the hostel was short buut my bags were so damn heavy. i could hear songs playing from a distance, in my mind his place is going to be amazing man.. well lets wait and see.. as i was walking i got to the parade ground its not very far.. its like 20 footsteps away from the gate.. i got there and it was covered in coal tar like a normal federal road, it wasnt that big tho..further away to my left was those big white canopys that are usually used at upcoming event centers,, not makeshift isolation center grade tho, that one looked so old and worn out, they were lots of chairs there and OBS was playing songs from there... looked to my right and there was RED SAND, A GOAL POST AND lots of canopys, plus many sellers so i guessed as at then that was mami market, i looked foward and i saw the hostel, its just one single building or both male and female but they just put girls to the left and boys to the right...
i was very disatisfied mehnnnnn,,, but i could understand sha because lagos was always a small place, LAGOS CAMP IS SO SMALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.. ive read tales of people walking to mami market from hostel for over 10 minutees in delta camp or kano camp, but lagos camp u can move from one end to the other end in less than 1 minute.. it was that small..

back to my camp introduction.. naso access bank rush us as i was getting to the hostel.. I SEROUSLY DID NOT WANT TO PAY ATTENTION TO THEM, one foolish camera man just came from no where and all this oversabi KOPAZ, una get red background passport, i just dey listen to d burna boy song wey OBS DEY PLAY.. i saw like 20 people taking passport oh,, ahhhh i say no lele na i go snap too, how much d guy say 2k,, ahhhhhh ...wetin happen... i was forced to pay 1k for dem passports,, as i was recovering next thing i hear rom the access bank agent was hmmm if u dont open account now they wont pay you alawee oh... ahhh shey u dey wyne me ni... naso i start to fill form oh , me that have access bank account before, i gave her everything she needed to (worst mistake i made in camp) i paid 2500 as deposit too.. and walked to the hostel she said she will call me and they will sent my account number to me...

i got to the hostel and we were told to line up. girls to the far left boys to the far right, the hostel had to entrances upstairs, so u understand why they did that,, they baricaded the center too so girls cant move into boys section and vise versa.. on the line we were like 50 boys,, across us were like 300 girls and more

more were still coming, it was crazy the nmber of girls there.. little did we know amongst ourselves there keeping quiet and forming frosh and boss we were standing amongst our future roomates... we stood in line as they were checking out documents and we wrote our names on a piece of paper,, once it got to 40 or 30 we were told to come,, in my mind i was like okay maybe we going to be 5 or 10 in a room,, wrongggggggggggggg... we were sardined together,, this room was like the size of a long tennis court.. and has plenty bunks init.. Bleep the living conditions are horrible.. but what to do na, we cant coomplain na,,
i sha got the top bunk.. all my bags i put ontop the bunk, i used padlock sharply.. it was very stressful coming down as lower bunk is always complaining o your leg too sandy and once lower bunk is eating its almost impossible to come down.. it was very tight the space between two bunks is very tiny, its barely 20 inches length, u cant even fit a laptop in that space not to talk of 4 human beings trying to move into their beds or dress up or dress up.....
no time to wale around sha, as people were moving at pace everyone was serious with wat they were doing, me too i joined oh, off to registration, its pretty straight foward, look for ur school, verify ur result, collect file, tumb print, collect meal ticket,, i had to pay someone to open my file for me, as i was doing that i saw someone with a certificate from my school, i just looked at her and went mmmmmmmmmmm,, am done with my school joor and ignored ever knowing that,, delta state university i hail oh, sory for denying you lol..i gor to know my platoon it was #platoon,, nah am not going to tell yall my platoon, am a very very very very very very very very very very shy creature, and il love to remain unknown..i collected bank form but i just kept it in my file since I HAD MET ACCESS BANK AT THE ENTRANCE GATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (REDFLAG) DONT EVER DO THIS.
anyways i got to where my mates were lining up under the hot sun to do this registration and i was like fukk it jawe shey ive done this shit, we move i went to locate my platoon so il collect my kakhi,, if you see what they gave us mad ohhhhhhhhhh, me that am slim normally, am like a slimmmmm,, but ttallll wrong combo, see khakiii mehnnnn i can fit 3 of me inside that pant trowser, the jacket was short and the shirt was a write off, the shoe was fucking tight too, i met the lady, see eye wey she use look me ehhh i jst carry my load dey go hostel, den later went to mami tailor to slimfit (red flag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) dont give them ur kaki on the first day when they av plenty work...wait for an extra week...

first day wahala no stop there oh,,,
the drilllllll God damn,
OH MY JESUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS,,,,
IVE NEVER FELT THAT MUCH PAIN IN MY LEGS BEFORE IT WAS MADDDDDDDDD,,
THEY HAD INTENTIONS TO KILL US, HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA,, FOR ALMOST 3 HOURS NON STOP,
dey didnt pity us that its first day they broke our bones with parade reharsals,,, il never forget that day, we were taking it as a joke at first until shit became real..

more to come. lemme stop here..

They are the worst..

Nothing can prepare u for morning drill..
Nothing.

Not to talk of afternoon faint fest..
During the first week.

Y practice March past in d morning den go on break to eat beans in d cafeteria (they love beans in camp, except you wan dey chop food for mami market) afternoon na under the sun doing parade remoooooooooveeee head dress.. Removeeeeeee head dress (this means remove ur cap) u gon practice this thing for 4 good hours until everybody is in sync.. Under hot son..

Best thing to do run to red Cross.. And save ur guys.. Tell them to form fainting so dem go siddon for inside ambulance.... Bks on parade ground no sitting.. Only standing..

Enjoyment Batch grin

No thumbprint, no working, no CDS for 7 good months.

You remember that wicked short female soldier that would always go to the back to find people who were not standing properly?

And or favourite Master Warrant officer who liked to Move it move it.
